Morning everyone

My sister in law is on the mend rather quickly . A great sign spoke to her briefly on the phone this morning she is starting to get back to her cheeky self.
As it was a form of keyhole surgery she thinks she is sore because they took the wrong route on her thigh and then said "typical male , even a Doctor needs a road map".

So I was happy to hear her joking.
So feeling happy I went and did a tad of shopping have to love Melb for that.

I'm sure this is something you ladies can relate too.
Bought myself some of those cheeky hipsters with the 2" zipper came home tried them on realised rather quickly I am no longer 16 years old...Gawd old age sux

Here's a question for everyone How would you cope if you had meet someone online who you have become good friends with, but you both can't meet for various reasons: such as distance, one or both happily married, not the right times in your lives.
Would you choose to continue the friendship knowing you'll never meet, never see what they look like or them you, are restricted in how far the friendship can go and restricted in how often you can contact each other, no phone, no emails just meeting online maybe once a week.
I would really like to hear your thoughts on this.

Hi cherrylips.. I know the kind of situation you're describing, because I've been there.

I met a man here at lit. We immediatly 'hit it off' and became good friends.

At the time, we were both married. He was a little frustrated with his marriage, while I was miserable in mine.

Initially we talked about our relationships, but as time passed, our friendship grew, and we just enjoyed 'chatting' about anything.

I have spoken to him on the phone, although not often. We use email to keep in touch.

He's such an important part of my life, that not meeting him is not an issue. That he's there is the main thing.

I guess what makes it a little frustrating is we have the opportunity to meet soon but it doesn't look like it will happen. We are both happily married not looking for anything more but we just relate to each other really well. My husband knows about him so its not like anything is hidden from him but his wife doesn't know about me.Thats why we only chat online, no emails, no phone calls.
I think I'm just venting ...lol. I'm happy with the situation just I would like to meet sit down have coffee maybe share a meal then continue with our lives.

Maybe you could meet for just a coffee and meal....nothing wrong with friends doing that...However...can it stay at that...although your happily married could temptation be a issue.

I was in situation once where a met a guy online we got on well he was married..I wasn't...we met just for coffee and a chat...temptation was there we had a wee snog and I pulled myself up as I NEVER fool with a married man. We only spoke once more after that , My guilt was the reason we stopped . I couldn't help but think of his wife although I had never met her she is still a real person with feelings and it may have just been a kiss but it still goes against my grain to do things like that with a married guy.The point being as long as you wouldn't compromise your morals/belief whatever nothing wrong with a meeting with a friend.
