Hello everybodies...

This has been a horrible day, I've shed many tears and uttered many rude words, but it was just improved with a phone call from a very special man, and coming here and seeing all my friends posting and sounding happy.

You're a great bunch of people you know, very.. very special. Loves ya all.

:rose:

i'm not sure, but i think the addition of too much pain, in all it's forms, has a very negative effect on a person's psyche...
i want to cry for the loss of these special people, but my brain just will not let me [read: if i start, i may not be able to stop]

it feels a little wierd - and i'm more than a little afraid that i'll lose complete control, so i just don't allow myself to let go.
i'm coiled tighter than a spring right now.... someday soon i'm betting i'll fall apart totally if i'm not careful.

call me 'stress-head'...

WQ I hope you realise how frustrating it is with you being so far away from us when we want to just be there for you so you can let go to uncoil that spring :( but if you need us we are here for you ya know & we mean anytime at all. ;)

Sometimes letting go can be so hard. It took me over two years to cry for my cousin and I had just spent an entire summer babysitting him. Very close. The hardest thing is giving yourself permission to grieve. I just felt that I had to keep it in, be strong for the others. What finally worked was letting myself cry for someone elses grief. Once the tears started it quickly became a flood and so much hurt and pain washed away. It just seem so much easier to give ourselves permission to feel someone elses sorrow then our own. Not sure if any of this makes sense, kinda out on the darvoset.

Grief has to be a passing phase, to stop grieving is not as to stop loving and remembering but life has to go on and the ones who have passed are best remembered in happiness not sadness.

I got a call today to tell me a guy i've known since my teens wife died last night.

Thanks to ARAMERA for his post.

SOFTEY your had me thinking & it's not an easy process but I'm thinking it's March 10 not 9.

How about a suprise party here. ;) :D

Yeah the 10th is the big day I am thinking of and a surprise party might be just what we could do with right now, sounds like Ladybird and WQ could both do with a bit of a break, a few drinks with friends may not solve all the problems but they can make them more bareable

So sorry about your day, LadyBird. Can't offer more than consolation and a sympathetic shoulder without knowing more. Having just gotten over a 12 month depression, I can certainly empathize.

Just echoing Gil's sentiments, which were stated more eloquently than my own. You are very special to an awful lot of people, having a real gift for touching others. We will reciprocate in any way we can.

so go ahead and lose complete control, just do it in a nice way.
head off to a nice quiet spot where you are free to do and say what you want then let it rip, scream, shout, cry, throw stones, talk to the trees or shout at the sky. it will just be you to do as you please so there is no need to hold back anything.

You're an evil, evil man Lloyd. Now all I can hear is that awful earworm......I hear thunder, I hear thunder, hark don't you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How was your Friday?
