Hey I'm the only AUSSIE here at the moment all are in the US/CANADA besides me.

We might have to tempt you to Sydney on your next visit Downunder & if your still here in OCTOBER we are having another LIT meet then.

my timezone is technically "Mountain West" ... and it's pretty accurate as well! I live in the Phoenix metro area .. the only weird thing is that when the rest of the country goes onto dalylight savings time, we don't. We go from being moutain time to pacific time ... yea ... all it means is that everyone from elsewhere is confused!!!!

Lol, not this year, but I'm hoping next year I might get to come to the G&G there. I'm going to try anyway.

Same here with day light saving as 3 states are on the eastern seaboard & only 2 have daylight saving & believe it or not Aussie is similar in size to the US so there are the confusion with other states & zones.

It's always confused me. I moved from 'Central time' to 'Eastern time". Messed me up for awhile, lol.

Well you have a place to stay in Sydney so there is one cost less to save for & it would be wonderful to give you a real hug my friend.I'm sure you would love meeting all the ppl from this board who come to the G&Gs.

I had my first trip OS in 94 to CANADA to visit my sister & her kids there & left Sydney on a monday at 8am & landed in Vancouver on Monday at 8.20am had me totally confused....all that time in the air & only 20 minutes past, the trip home was worse as it took an extra day because of the time zone.

Well, Spirithowler insists that 12:30 am is to late to be up and I need to get to sleep so I guess I'm headed to bed now. Night all. 's

Well you can dislike me but I had a great time. :D Picture the old space frames/open sheds/undercover areas etc that high schools like to have, add 2000 odd people, lots of alcohol, keep it over 30C and that was the concert..... so much more personal than the big entertainment centres. He was amazing, (much better than Rod Stewart who I saw on Monday) even did a song with Lee Kernaghan........ though if it makes you feel better I killed a pair of shoes, the ladies was under two inches of water and all I can say about that is EEEWWWWWWW, the shoes went in the bin on my way back in the front door at 2am.

A song with Lee.....................

Would that have something to do with where the concert was???

*S*

Sounds like it would have been a great night.................

But not sure about the shoe bit......................

With the loo story all I can picture are the birthdays, wedding etc of growing up in a very, very small country town...................

Outdoor loo's at the local hall....................

lol

Ok, your no longer in my bad book......................
