2 days till i fly out!
(having no end of trouble trying to get a train organised to nostress' place though - might have to just go to the train station and throw myself on their mercy! can't get the timetables and stuff to load on my puter - been trying for a few days.)
its very very simple, out of the airport and catch the skybus it will take you right to the train staion, just inside the door is ticket sales buy a ticket to -------- , train will proberly leave from platform one which is right beside the ticket counter.
TXT me what time your train leaves melb and I meet you at this end.

so, when i get back from visiting in vic, i am meeting with her and we're going to see if we can get this happening!
she's happy to wait a few weeks while she rearranges her studio [renovations].
there's already a room done up that used to be used for massage that i can easily set up as a piercing room.
life is funny sometimes - just when i had almost made the decision to quit the piercing thing altogether [even tho i have been piercing under the radar for all this time!], this comes along
it's enough to make me think 'hope' isn't the crock of shit i've thought it was all this time.
thats the best bit of news I have heard in ages, really hope it all goes well for you, after all the effort you have put in to get a studio up and running this may be jusy the boost you need

i've just checked through their site - they're a lot cheaper than my current supplier, but i'm a bit wary of that, because i like to know i'm getting my stuff from a medical manufacturer (same place in britain that makes things like headplates and leg pins, etc.)
but i'll check them out more thoroughly when i get back here.

evening aussies
well, i'm all packed and ready for my insanely early departure.
i've had to rethink how i've packed, and have ended up with a tiny suitcase and a duffel bag. no sense in lugging an enormous suitcase if i'm going on a train
and i have to cart my bags around for a while!
i've also tried to pack as sensibly as possibly (unusual for me! lol) in that i've got all interchangable outfits. i never knew i had all these combinations - i tend to wear one top with one pant/skirt and never mix'n'match.
so this is a bit of a departure for me!
(but i have packed both warm and cool clothes, so the weather should be manageable.)
finally called the Vline number today and got through, coz the website showed only 1 train going through to ******** - and the nice paki lady at the other end gave me all the times, prices and platform no's. as well as the extinct no for the shuttle co that goes from airport to station (but hey, you can't win em all, and i'll just go out and ask when i get to tullamarine.)
i've sorted the entire family for my time away (kids begin school next week thurs!) and done all the final stuff so they can survive without calling me every day, 10 times a day )
even when i'm not actually in the same house, they can't survive without me!
i'm ready to quit smoking, and i'm pledging here and now, that i will not allow myself to become a horrid cow in the process!
you're all witnesses!

And I have a thought for you ... maybe it helps and maybe it don't ... that first day of quitting ... that horrid gruesome day ... do you ever want to do it again???? then don't. That is the thought that finally got me to really quit ... that I didn't want to experience that very first day ever again ... it was that bad ...

As for the V rail phone call, isn't it strange how so many companies are going off shore to save paying real wages to ppl to man their services.
