Well it went better than I thought, and i lived to tell the tale.... so far 
I just thought of a question to throw at people in here....
I said in one of my first posts, that I had found the forum, to have fun, meet some local people and maybe...well maybe find someone.
Since I am guessing most people here are the same, I have been wondering if anyone has ever tried another personals type programme?
i know ninemsn has one and there are others like friendfinder.com.
I have always been too nervous to try, but curious none the less.
Heck, look at this one... I post here and suddenly i find someone i used to work with! *chuckle*

Wow.. you people have been great.. thank you so much for all of the fuss and attention. I love you all for it.
Perhaps when I do get to Sydney, we can arrange to all meet at a central location.. a pub or whatever.. wouldn't it be great!
And my lovely Dragonette.. the instigator of all of the celebrations.. you're a special woman.
And to thank you, I bought this for you.. your very own castle! Just what every dragon needs.. surely. Um, it is in Scotland.. but I'm sure you'll manage.. perhaps a little 'retreat' for you and Hman <wink>

as far as personals go on the net, from what ive heard (friends & the like) they are mainly used for booty calls & the like... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but i spose you would wanna make sure you both have the same thing in mind when you settle in the the evening

I've used them, and to aid my chances I also posted a pic.. something not everyone does there.
I must admit I was nervous and unsure. Being single is still very new to me, hubby and I separated early October.
But... with three days of putting my pic and profile up, I was emailed my a man who was divorced and in the age bracket I was looking for.
I phoned him the next morning, we met for coffee a couple of hours later, and have been lovers ever since.
Before I had a chance to withdraw my profile, I was contacted by another man, but told him that I had already met someone.
Now, I don't know if my story is 'the usual'... but MSN worked very well for me.

To QuickDuck: Lit has been my one and only source (just literally peeked into a couple of others), and although I never intended on using this site as a dating service, just a chance for erotica and fun, I did fall in love quite heavily anyway! You guys are so great, just read the last 5 pages, out of town for a few days, and I must admit since coming back from Melbourne in Nov. I can not get back in the swing of things. Love the land and people . When I read all this back and forth I realize why I can't break the lock you guys put on me, but I like that close feeling from all of you. OK, I'll stop but had to get that off my chest, by the way the wet suites I saw down there didn't leave anything to guess about, man or female. Did see a lot of females that I sure would like to pull the zipper!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I guess you would like a little info about me. I'm 30 from Newcastle .....so hi to my neighbour Ozsteamer.... I'm married but love to meet new and interesting people. In regards to everyones comments about friends from online I just recently came in to contact with a fantasic guy and we have since become great friends and yes my husband knows all about it. As I mentioned in my first post I'm big on honesty and believe that helps all relationships. It's also nice to be surround by like minded people, so I'll try hard to join in as often as I can to the conversations. xxx
