I have 4 best mates who are guys and we have complete honesty between us, it's great. I have known them for years and I can get totally drunk and trust they will look after me or whatever! With them I am totally at ease and I don't have to worry about what I am wearing or doing, I am just me.

Honesty is a huge component of any relationship - business or personal. If it's not there, no point in it continuing in my opinion!

I proofread for friends and suggest, but I really only have time to spend on things that interest me, therefore I have not put my name down.

Yes... I am !!!

I've finally made it.. I'm now officially a 'guru'..

and this is my first post in Aussies as a guru.. which is so appropriate, because it was this thread that introduced me to Lits various boards.

I've met some lovely people here.. all Aussies.. either by birth or honorary status, and each and every one has enriched my life and expanded my life experiences.

Like most of us I guess, I came to Lit cos it was an adult site, never expecting to form the close friendships that I have.

Because of this thread.. late april I'm travelling to Brisbane to help Shazz celebrate her 40th birthday. Shazz and I are walking a similar path at the moment, and have become very close as we've helped each other.

But before I arrive in Brissy, I plan to spend some time in Sydney.. where I will finally get to meet that fire breathing dragon that we all love. I'll also catch up with Voyman. He doesn't visit Lit all that much now, but his friendship pulled me thru when hubby and I separated. In fact, he saved my life one night when I couldn't see any point in carrying on. My other lit friends Ozziemale and Ozziebuzz are in Sydney too, and I look forward to all of the hugs they can give me.

So... look at how much this thread has given me. And to anyone that says that online friends aren't real... as my husband used to, let me say this...BULLSHIT
