BANDIT:heart: is now a Granny/Nanna!

:nana::nana:Her Daughter gave birth at 7.59PM NZ time on our anniversary, what a fantastic way for BANDIT:heart: to celebrate with her grandbaby boy being born 16 days late.
:nana::nana:

Congrats :rose:
New additions are nice
(so long as I don't get the call... yet!)

OMG!
I drank a whole bottle of bourbon last night!
Thank goodness I don't get hangovers!
Had some friends over... what a night
Probably shouldn't do that too often  my liver will need a rest!

I am old :(
I am on the middle of menopause, and I am bigger than I have been for meny years :(
I am old :(

Look on the bright side, at least you're not a grannie yet! ;) :D

It's been a long wait but glad he's here now and both are well and healthy. I haven't heard his birth weight yet but will post when I know :) Both my kids weighed just over 3kg but I suspect this one will be bigger judging by the size of his mum when I saw a pic of her at 7 months gone

My son just put some pics of the baby up on Facebook (now I'm all mushy)
He weighed 8lbs 1oz (3.7kg) and has blond/brown hair like his mum.

congradulations
after I had my beautiful kids I would only ring up my parents to apologies
the best thing about grandparents is you can give them back

Just been to the best Christmas Party in quite a few years! An entire isolated community at the local community hall. Competitions all day. Raffles (I won the best chockies and some wine *hic*). Bush band & dancing. People from newborn to 88yrs. And the 88yo lady danced us all under the table! lol Sunshine out in full force (between rain last night and sprinkles starting now)
Mixed cricket, with someone who'd never played before bowling out the middle stump! HOWZAT!!

And I still say I should have won the gumboot throwing. It went the furtherest! Just because it hooked over left and nearly wiped out an entire family it got disqualified! I wuz robbed!!!

Reminds me of being a kid at these things. And not one of those kids looked at their electonic thingumies all day and never even thought of them. Too busy running around getting up to mischief! :D

Sounds wonderful, Triskie. Wish there were more celebrations like that. Not the ones where the only worry is where the beer tent will go. I'm not a wowser, don't mind a drinkie or two....well until I fell out of the taxi....and that is a whole other ugly story with taxi's involved. Though this time, one should feel sorry for the driver.....:D But I fail to see the need to always have alcohol at these community events. Especially with children there. Think it's sad if parents can't go without grog for a few hours.

Hope everyone enjoys the parties and celebrations they have coming up. Be safe A/all.

Congrats Bandit and company...........you too Gil.....:D

I'm sitting in a car park filled with classic and vintage cars, waiting to go on a car cruise :)
Surrunded by V8's, I am in heaven :D
Best. Aphrodisiac. Ever.

If I were to hazard a guess, my estimate would be $6 million worth of cars there today!
And I'm being conservative, because I refuse to include the Nissan's in that lot.

Being a Pa....

A lot of mixed emotions with BANDIT:heart: she is excited yet sad about becomming a Nanny / Granny.

Yeah I get that....my wife's kids have given us that honour my own daughter doesn't have any so I had to get accustomed to the Pa title. It was a shock when I began thinking of myself as a Grandad.....think I am ok now.
:cool:Mont

OK.... So where is everybody?...... Yoohoo!!..... Is everyone running, doing the prechristmas chores thing????

Hope your new grandson and his Mum are settling in nicely, Bandit! :rose:
