I keep popping up from time to time so thought it was about time to quickly introduce myself.

DJ are the initials, David is the name, live 20kms NE of Melbourne Vic, originally from the UK, but not a 5 pound pom, cost more than 400 (you didn't want me in your country at first). Been here 35 years so probably more Aussie than Pom. now Have already said Hi to Triskele and Iolanthe off air, the rest you can read more about me on my profile if you are that interested.

Looking forward to joining in, especially as we are on a respectable time zone.

Hi DeeJay,

Hope you are well and happy. :)

Woo Hoo! The Curious one is Baaaack!!!! :D :D :D

Good to 'see' you! Understand the whole dead and dying poota thing. I got a new laptop and haven't been thrown out any more!!!!Life trundles along, does it not? Lurch ing into pre-Christmas mode now and all the silliness that entails.

On the countdown to our music festival in our corner of the woods. Working on committee for new Arts Centre. Trying to stay out of trouble. Failing. Again. :)

So good to know you're back, Curious. :rose:

Thanks, Tris. :D Wow, pre-Christmas mode already? Gosh, you're organised. I kinda remember those days (of being organised, that is). They seem so long ago.

Ooh, a music festival? Do tell. What kind of music? New Arts Centre... would I have seen the old one? I was in your town last year for this thing that involved lots of pieces of sewn material. Haha, trying to stay out of trouble - which kind of trouble? Depending on your answer, you should be diving in head first, not trying to avoid it ;)

I'll see you round the thread :rose:

WooHoo plans for this beautiful sunny, warm Sydney day is when BANDIT:heart: gets home from pumping iron at the gym & gets showered w are heading out to take care of some must do things before having a nice seafood lunch by the waters of Botany Bay then enjoying some sunshine then tonight Heading out to Rock with Doc Neeson & band (sadly not the Angels).

Am I ever gunna see your face again? :nana::nana:

Hey Orlanthe. Feeling like i want to strangle a certain taxi driver. *growl*

Has your doctor been back, or has he only come the once. What sort of examination did they give in that flipping hospital???? You need a more thorough exam!

Thinking of you, Orlanthe. Sending you lots of love and big squeezy hugs (not to collar bone and ribs).
I had my doctor pay me a visit today and I have a new script for more pain killers.

My doctor thinks that I have broken my shoulder as well as my collar bone and a few around the shoulder but mostly around the right shoulder blade that is causing me the pain I have when I breath or cough and I am so lucky I havnt had to sneeze as it would be the pain I could not describe

I hope that doctor could make you more comfortable.

Hang in there, Orlanth. {hug} :rose:

Hi wonderful KIKI, we don't see you enough these days. :rose:

Oh I always check the heater out well before it's needed just to be sure it's working so i know it's good to go when the time comes, I tested my portable Aircon today.

I really can't see these temps lasting so planning for both the hot & cold weather.

With those temps I'd be investing in a heated spa for those cooler days you get leading into the cold season, nothing like enjoying a spa with someone special when it's cold.

Good morning to you all
Will now lower the tone of the conversation by talking AFL, Sydney out, now all that remains is West Coast, and the cup is guaranteed to stay in Victoria.
Chilly morning here in Melbourne but promises to be a fine day.
Just hope every one recovers quickly and painlessly from their injuries especially Orlanth.
Not sure of your music tastes, but if any one saw Phantom, suggest those of you in Sydney start looking out for tickets to Love Never Dies, I personally believe it is better.
I did warn you about the conversation tone, will leave it to Triskele and the others to lift it back up.
Off gardening, more like trail blazing through virgin forest.

No AFL here, we are all rugby & NRL with BANDIT:heart: being a Kiwi she is go Warriors & seeing the Rabbitoes are out it's GO STORM !!!! yes thats right I supporting the Melbourne team although next weekend sees our 2 teams meeting in the NRL & All Blacks V Wallabies although no real conflict with either codes in our house regardless of who wins although she does go for any side who play the Aussies in any sport.

I'm envious of you having a sauna as this would be a great advantage for getting my fluid balance down if I over do the drinking between getting on dialysis (I'm only allowed 1.5 litres total fluid a day) which is very easy to over do considering it is ALL fluids including drinks & foods.

Speaking of dialysis ... the wonderful BANDIT  is just about got the machine set up ready to stick the needles into me so I can hook up for 8 hours in bed, good thing I've only had a little sleep so will get woken for food & drink while doing my 8 hours.

She really is a blessing in my life.

The pain should start to ease in a couple of weeks. I did go to emergence room and I did have a x ray the problem is with my body is so twisted around inside with medal rods in my back it hard for the x ray to show up properly and the doctor that not all broken ribs show up in x rays only by the amount pain on the ribs, an I am going to sue but am seeking legal advice first as want to be able to do it properly

OMG what a beautiful day. Perfect weather. 23 deg. Full sunshine.

Great day for the Wall to Wall bike ride today. The news has been talking of Syd to Canberra, but they've come from EVERYWHERE. Over 100 thru here this am. ( Some cuties, too! ;) )

Gotta love this place in Spring!!! :D :D

You sound like you should be one of those Bondi Icebergers, The crazy guys who swim with ice at the Bondi Baths!!

It may be a heart starter but don't you lose other precious parts??????

My mother-outlaw is an ex-sandgroper. She's so totally beside herself with the AFL results. If support alone would get them over she'd have had them there well before now. I can hear her through a mountain range and 200km when she's yelling instructions at the TV. She's allowed. she's 80 :D

I just like watching an AFL players derriere!! :D

Bet you're still pumped after your evening with Doc Neeson!

Gee it must be hard in Summer to balance your fluids!?

You and Bandit are good for each other. It's lovely to 'see' . :rose:

Wow. I've just been cruising some threads and I now understand an earlier comment on this thread regarding how friendly people are here!

There are some truly nasty, snotty posts floating around. What is the point of that?
