Big topic here is the upcoming virtual wedding of two of our 'honorary Aussies'.. Jenny and Oman.

A date hasn't been set yet, but plans are underway already. In fact the brides 'shower' is looking pretty good !! Not sure that Oman's too happy about the stripper though !

And speaking of the wedding.. I've been looking around for a new outfit.. and I'm not too sure about this one.. what do you think ladies?

well, ladybird, i was born (to be honest) in sydney, but have beenm down here more than half my life, so i call myself tasmanian with pride. (unless any mainlander starts up with the tassie jokes, then i say.."hey, i was born in sydney" lol)

...just one more question b4 i toddle off to bed though...how do i talk to aussies on here faster than just using this bb? i am a pretty much a newbie on the net, and forgive my ignorance for my assumptions, but wouldn't this thread fill up faster than the seats for a srtrip-show at a prison?

Welcome TassyMan! Thanks for sharing your nice photo with us. Have you tried the chat area? A lot of the aussies here "hang out" in Syd's Hot Tub; it's a faster way to meet people who are online at the same time.

Now... what's this I hear about a shower! With a stripper!!

Oman related to me some of the information you gals are planning and it's pretty exciting! I suppose the shower should wait until after our actual meeting (I would hate to think about returning all the lovely "virtual" gifts!)

Now, maybe someone should plan a batchelor party for Oman! (I'm sure there'd be enough volunteers for stripping at that gig!)

What a lovely dress, Ladybird! Excellent choice and you'd look stunning in it! I will need some help though in picking out a wedding dress too... and on deciding the rest of the wedding party!! Oh my... so much to do!

A dear friend

A dear friend of mine in the tub, recently declared her true feelings to a man in lit, ultimately he rejected her.
I was with her every step of the way, and know what she has been through.
This morning, before the funeral,I wrote her a poem entitled Avenue Of Dreams.
She says it describes her feelings perfectly,I will not say who she is,even tho she has no problem with that.

Hello there all fellow Lit aussies & honouraries. I'm yet to make up my mind on my UserName, Spantress' I've been told I'm not allowed to use, as it 'titles' me!
Yes, I am Spanktress' boyfriend, lover, friend, 'in-between'. I have not read over the full thread as it is very late, or early.
I've been told to add - I am 45 & in Vic for your records. I'm currently seeing someone -Spanktress- but our relationship is an open one, so I am told. I do hope I am not sounding like I am under the thumb??!! But then again if that appeals to anyone then maybe again ,I am ??
