Found this lovely little restaurant in Nelson Bay that had a couple of young spunkies serving the most delicious Christmas dinner . . . heheheheh . . . still life yet . . . . . . one lived just down the street a little . . .

Gotta go and watch the news about Kerry Packer passing on . . .

Hi bertrande We are taking things easy, there are lots of speedway meetings coming up The first one was last night and I didn't get to bed until 1.30 this morning

I don't handle the heat well - being a Kiwi I have been conditioned to late 20s at the most. Once things get over 30C I am a puddle of sweat (oh dear not a very nice visual!)

Thats the only drawback about the speedway is the late nights.

Not to bad, had the day off work and now just relaxing.
Isn't hot up here, just muggy. Still the air-com takes care of that.

He doesn't race now, though he used to drive fender benders, speedcars, speedway karts and sedans until 1999. He's a member of the crash crew.

We had a nice day at Gil's parents' place. I ate and drank way too much, his mother makes great brandy alexanders

I have been sneaked down on the infield once when the sprintcars were running - talk about adrenalin!!
