I'd like to make a little more...that way I could indulge in a couple of gratuitous airfares to the UK to visit some friends and not feel guilty about it!

It's amaazing what you can do on very little though.......... ;)

i toured the states and Canada on very litte, had a great time......and lost three stone in weight

Amazing how kids can slow you down.... :D

I spent two and half months camping around Europe with a two and a half year old.....that was fun! Amazing how a mop of blond curls and big blue eyes can open doors for you when you don't speak the language!

(they were the 2&1/2 year old's...not mine! ...before you ask!)

Easy when you're on your own and a bloke to be able to do that......not nearly so easy for women.

Wouldn't mind losing three stone........note to self *ask Trev about his travel weight loss programme*

I have friends who own a Winnebego.........they head off all over the place whenever they feel like it!

But they decided they needed a base to come back to, so have recently bought a place in Mildura......sort of half way between where their kids live....

Cats look so foolish when they do things like that...cos they're usually so cool.... :catroar: hehehehehe

What about a big Ford with a trailer? There are a couple that tour the circuit that I'm on who have an F1800 (i think) on gas with a trailer/caravan that is articulated ...carries their stock and their beds!

i have plenty of family around the UK so i never have to spend heaps on accomadation or even hire cars. But the airfare is abit steep.i normaly go see mum at xmas every couple of yrs. think canada or egypt will be my next destination when i save the penies( house is taking all my money now)

I meet the guy who invented the temp rite units pub use to chill beer, he has a huge winnebego and tows a boat, sets out his satelite dish every night and spend his days fishing and touring around OZ and checking out the odd pub just to make sure the beer temp is OK........he would be worth millions but was one of the nicest guys you could bump into

I NEVER get lost!!!

I have an excellent sense of direction!

Prize winning rally navigator here!

Can't bear the helpless female routine.....wouldn't ever pull that in a fit! Far too bloody minded for that! If I ever ask about something its because I genuinely don't know!

I have reached the advanced age I am successfully having learned to walk upright with the "big load" on my chest without the need of a "balance", thank you very much!

your not invisible and I am sure us boys would be happy to discuss your assets while standing in front of you

I'd hope if I had both of you "standing in front" of me.....you would do more than just discuss my assets! ;)

I know the perfect spot up on Cape York right by a water fall, mind you with all the tourists that head that way now there is proberly a McDonalds there.

a back pack might just even up the load on her spine

I guess we could suport one each to ease the load on your back..... or did you have something else in mind
