Actuially, odd as it sounds, Doom is just one game I have never ever been able to get into. I may check out the movie with a couple of my uber geek friends, but it's not something I'm going to be standing in line for that's for sure. But to each their own, and I'm quite sure you'll be there opening night and you'll have to tell us all about it

i liked the earlier dooms-but doom 3 on xbox i haven't taken a shine to as yet-maybe i'll try it on the pc now i have one that will run it. having said that i will be going to the movie

I was in a Harvy Norman store where they had Doom 3 set up on a high end PC, and it was pretty fawkin awesome. The sounds and graphics they're making now is mind blowing. I find for most FPS games they're ALWAYS better on a PC than a console. However I don't play PC games at all, so that lets me out . I've never taken to PC gaming, but I rule with my PS2 console
