afternoon aussies

day five post-op, and if anything, i am more sore now than i was a couple of days ago
had to go off the ibuprofen (ripped the lining out of my stomach ), and am consequently swollen terribly
thank god for mercindol! altho, i'm taking 8 a day, and they're only just keeping the post-op pain to a tolerable level.
*sigh* and they tell me it's going to be a couple of weeks yet.

i'm fairly sure y'all are having a way better day than i am......

Agreed . . . the original sentences should have been sequential rather than concurrent . . . sometimes the politicians get in the way of proper sentencing for electoral reasons . . . IMHO I think that these sort of crimes - gang rape particularly should start at 15 years sequential and go up with the degree of leadership and planning involvement for individuals . . . with minor remissions for those members dobbing in their "mates" . . .

ive got to get up at 4.30am tommorow. i volunteer at the royal children's hospital in brisbane with the children, playing games and stuff. and occasionally do one off fundraising stuff. tommorow there is a fun run on sthbank to raise money for the foundation and i'm volunteering at the registration desk. oh god. its going to be cold and WINDY!
