Aussies! Check in here!

The party was excellent :D
I ticked off another couple of things on my bucket list

Lost my panties..... again.
3 parties, 3 pairs of knickers.
Seems that is to be my personal cost of attendance, lmao
I may just have to go commando next time!

Commando is def cheaper lol

Good to hear there are still some wilds left in this world.

So no pat down at customs? Seems a long way to go for coffee beans :D

I remember coming back from the States thru Fiji. The woman that got on and sat next to me had no idea about customs. So I had to help her fill in her form. It was only as we were approaching Brisbane did she take out an orange from her bag. This is after she stated on her customs form that she didn't have any fruit. So I quickly got one of the flight attendants to take the orange away.

I've been to Fiji and lets just say their inspections lack a certain care factor.
Trust me there are some wilds. Boobs out, decorative scarring, rubbed in mud, old Nokia phone through the extended earlobe and carrying an old AK that I fear would probably breech blast and kill the firer type wilds. But sitting on top of some crazy rich rare minerals and trying to make sure that it is going to be a good community enriching opportunity.

Customs in Perth is a bit stricter than when I come through Sydney or Brisbane. Well, that's my observation anyway. I haven't been pat searched in Australia yet. Not over coffee anyway! Imagined being stripped in customs... That could be fun.

WQ's parties are a bit interesting. I can't but help thinking that it might be fun to be a fly on the wall and seeing how it all works. All power to you hun, sounds like you are on a winning formula there. Commando sounds the go. Or pre-autograph your knickers as it sounds like they will never be heading home.

They are huge fun :D
Not everyone who goes to these ends up playing - a lot of people go just to be among free-thinking people and enjoy the fact that they don't have to watch what they say.
There are many non-participants who go purely for the social scene.
And then there are those that go a few times, just to see what actually goes on.
The ones I attend are a single-men free zone..... to attend, you must be parrt of a couple, or an approved single female (all new people are required to attend an initial meetup with the hosts, usually a social night organised at a club or pub.)
There are also quite strict etiquette rules as well. And of course, safe sex is a given.

But well worth making the effort to go at least once, if it's something you have thought about doing :)
Even if you don't play...... the people are awesome fun just to interact socially with.

Aussie male from the Mornington Peninsula area of Victoria. Just found this site, and it is quite remarkable. :)

Hey WQ,

What the hell are doing wearing knickers to one of those evenings? Not like you're going to have them long. Or the other option is to keep them in your handbag and put them on after. As a personal preference I say go commando

So I'm assuming it wasn't your boobs that were out? Yep we get a rather sterile view of the world here in Aussie land. Just take something as simple as the pension. Doesn't happen in all countries.

Doubt you would get a breech from an AK or any of those types of weapons. It's the other end you have to be more concerned about. They may be old but the principles of operation are simple plus they are cheap so there are lots of them in those less developed areas. Have to laugh when I see in the movies military dudes carrying their weapons above their heads crossing a river. That's when you know it's make believe.

Welcome Switch,

Also hello to a fellow Victorian.

Fastest way for people to get to know you is just post stuff that relates to you or your thoughts on stuff.

Yep the overall site was a surprise when I first found it. Just respect people and all will be good on the respective threads. Lots to explore so have fun.

Surprisingly no, it wasn't my boobs out for a change. I was in khaki flame proofs and steel caps. You don't wear hi-vis off the mining sites there, big pussy cats can see it on the plains from miles away. A lot of the things we take for granted, inefficient or not, is a mystery in most places. Bras or some sort of breast support for larger endowed women for example, because some of the dancing around had lethal weapons flying everywhere, let alone the business end of misdirected AK.

Afternoon all,

So a wet and soggy couple of days in Melbourne town and the bean eaters have been at it again. Lots of wind in the last couple of days.

Well the clean up from the house demolition next door is continuing. Week 3 and at least another week of being woken up by a digger. Been staying up watching the sport on late night TV so the sleep is taking hit since I'm a light sleeper.

Had some issues with the demo contractor. I've had a few words with him and made my problem now his problem. It's about the only way to get people to take you seriously.

Just saw the latest residential re-zoning for my neighbourhood. No real changes for my area apart from all the house construction going on. Why the re-zoning, well that's all got to do with Melbourne being set up for the population expansion in the next 5-10 years. We will have a larger population than Sydney, hence why all the metro and road works. They have even done works on the sewerage systems to cater for the larger population.

More medical stuff for me to do next week. So more use of the alarm clock. People just have the wrong impression of retirement, it's fucking busy.

Hope your weekend is good even if it will probably be soggy in the south.

So big pussy on the plains. Yep better not say that out loud, you'll have dudes booking flights :D

Hope your day is going well.

Afternoon all,

Well the rain keeps on coming in Melbourne town. Will continue into next week as well which would make 3 continuous weeks of the wet stuff. Rather unusual in Melbourne town even for Winter. As for the wind well that has kept on coming as well. Even had hail stones although not very big, but enough to cause a car alarm down the street to go off . Had to laugh cause the owner obviously attended to it only for the hail to return and set it off again. Car alarms are a total waste of money since nobody pays any attention to them due to the number that go off accidently.

Had a new medical experience yesterday. So much time spent just waiting. As for the outcome well it seems I have yet another challenge and no doubt leading to yet more medication. Oh joy! I'm sure making use of the medical services in the past 10 years. This time it was covered by Medicare which is a nice change. In the previous 30 yrs I hardly made use of any medical services. It's still a new experience. What I am learning is that doctors can't provide all the answers and it becomes a suck it and see approach when things happen that aren't part of the prescribed treatment. Lots of shrugging of shoulders. Expectations aren't always realised.

The moon landing anniversary is this week. I remember sitting in primary school, I was 7, watching the moon landing in class on the old black and white TV. It is one of those memories that stick from a young age. Like my first crush also in the same primary school.

Hope the rest of the week is good for you.

We had one of the few Tv's as Dad owned an electrical repair shop. I had a day off school at age 8 and friends and neighbours who didn't have a tv were all huddled together in the loungeroom. It is a good memory and like you one that sticks for years.

One of those generation things where having a TV was a bit of a luxury. Even the content was limited and in black in white, so when colour came along it was amazing. I remember having to listen to the Ashes on the radio when it was played in England. Tell the younger generation that and they just stare at you like you're from a different planet. Then again I can't imagine not having TV. Just like the younger generation can't imagine not having computers and only having one phone in the house in the hallway.

Afternoon all,

Well it's tax time. I just got all my tax stuff from the various agencies, so off to do the tax return later this week. Not sure what will happen this time as my tax has changed. Yep still paying tax even though retired but thankfully it is less this year.

Wasn't that impressed with the conclusion of the women's test. Thought it would go for another day and also given the lead by the Aussies thought they would try to win since they couldn't lose. I understand why they did it, but those tactics just leaves fans flat.

Had some good news on the medical stuff. The new meds worked so the specialist is happy, it even cost me less this time around. I've lost more weight to the point of having to buy new jeans and a couple of new belts. Went shopping and couldn't find just normal jeans. It's either, skinny, stretch or slim fit. I was not impressed. May be I was there at the wrong time. Then it was hard to find my new size. I just want a pair of normal dude jeans. Will have to go hunting elsewhere than the normal stores. Given my continual weight loss no doubt I'll need go clothes shopping again this year.

Lots of wind today in Melbourne town so more wet stuff on the way later tonight and into tomorrow. Was going to do some hacking in the garden since the sun it out but it's too windy and too much crap flying around outside.

Well it now seems the various tradies working on the two house sites in my street are now fighting each other for space. I hear the arguments in the morning. Add to that the demo crew next door also complaining about trying to get their dump truck on site. So everyone is complaining about everyone else. It's not a long section of the street that all this is happening in so lots of congestion during the day. Reminds me of all the roadworks happening in Melbourne at the moment with competing projects all happening at the same time resulting in chaos.

Unlike the last few weeks, this week should be more relaxed. I've even had time to play more of the new video game which I still find is a pain but I'm persisting with it just to see what happens.

Hope the week is good for you.

Hi, nearly 40 male from Bundy. Thought I'd make my presence known as I'm on a quest to find some friends. Honest, dte and all that. Lol. Not expecting my inbox to fill up too quickly so if anyone wants a chat, hit me up.

Blue sky and 20 in the west. Again. Not too bad at all, and we are ahead of the rain curve too, so the farmers are happy.
Chasing the dog around earlier. He was stuck "out" and the old pink lipstick must have been bothering him as he tried humping the sofa, cat, a pile of leaves outside. I put a spoon in ice and then chased him around trying to ping him with it, but to no avail, so took him to the vets. I thought she was going to be gentle with him but she took the magic ice spray out, gave him a blast and he curled up in the corner all back to normal.
Still getting over the Ethiopia bugs so it has been a quiet few weeks. Shame the delayed London trip might just happen to coincide with one of the Ashes tests. Might be fun to pop in and spend the day there. I'm sure tickets can be organised, the concierge there seems to be able to get his hands on just about anything.

Welcome Merrits,

Best way to make some new friends is just post stuff about yourself so people can get to know you. As I've seen before on these threads, people don't respond to "cold call" PM's. Much easier if they know you first.

I reckon any male that gets the cold spray on his willie would also curl up in a ball as well. Every dude knows the feeling of walking in to the cold water at a beach when the water touches the ball sack. Sends a shock thru your body.

Hope you declared your Ethiopian bugs at customs :D. Better be careful Mr Potato Head doesn't try to deport you next time.

Afternoon all,

Still waiting for that rain to come thru Melbourne. Supposed to be a lot, but thus far nothing just cool winds.

Just got my tax done and was pleasantly surprised to discover I'll get a refund. The easy access to stuff on-line makes for getting the tax done earlier however the technology was a bit of a challenge to actually fill in the tax return at the accountant. But we got there in the end.

Apparently Jack Fruit is something new to the current generation. I've been eating that stuff since I was a kid. Reminds me of buying Lychees for a friend years ago and she didn't know what they were since she had only seen them in their peeled state.

Went shirt shopping yesterday and wasn't impressed with the shop assistant who didn't know anything about the stock. Her comment was "I just sell the stuff I can't answer any of your questions". Here in Melbourne we are used to proper service in department stores. I usually don't go back to a store if the attitude of the sales assistant is poor.

Spent the last two nights eating French cheese on a baguette and a glass of red wine in the other hand whilst watching Le Tour thru the stages in the mountains. Quintana had a point to prove to his current team, given they were working against him as he is out of contract with them next year. Thomas seems to be struggling, still not much in it. Thankfully it's a lot closer this year.

Hope your weekend is good for you.

Hi all,

Just went for a wander to grab lunch with a colleague and it’s icy out there today. Hope you’re all staying warm and cozy.

❤️

Hey Raine,

On the positive side the cold wind will keep your skin tight so no chance of wrinkles :D

I could do that, Triple Cream Brie and a nice Cheddar with a good Shiraz works. Maybe a bit of quince paste or pate with the Baguette.

Afternoon all,

Well the wet stuff has arrived for the next 6 days. Decided to do the weekly shop yesterday as the only dry day, still on the chilly side though. What a shame I can't do the mowing till next week. Have to laugh at those mowing contractors that regardless of the weather they is going to mow on the scheduled day.

The place next door is now an empty quiet lot, so no more early morning machinery waking me up. Still lots of tradies in the street since the next two properties are still in various states of build. One of them has been going for over 12 months. Now it's the turn of the soft trades.

So the Aussies got themselves in the shit in cricket then Smith got them out of the shit. Didn't think they would get there so it was an amazing turn around. Now the pomes are doubting their team. Even the booing of the Aussie trio has basically gone away. Will see if the new bowler for England can make a difference.

Rather quiet week after last week's activity. Will need another trip to Bunnings next week to do yet more replacement work, now that I've figured out the actual issue. It continues to be the year of replacement for stuff in the house. Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit before I make the final major changes to the house. A bit too cold to have the doors open all day to accommodate reno works.

Another week in the US and another mass shooting but nothing will change till they have pollies who are willing to put peoples lives ahead of self interest. The fact you can purchase a military grade weapon without a license if just crazy and if you need a military weapon to go hunting, you ain't no hunter you're just a jackass with a gun.

Hope the rest of the week is good for you. If anyone is coming to Melbourne over the next 7 days, bring a boat cause the rain isn't going away till mid next week.

Yeah shit weather were having here in Victoria, can’t wait for summer to arrive and go to the nudist beach at point impossible.
At the moment it’s my heater turned up and wearing plenty of clothes when going outdoors.
