Qld can be brutal when you're not used to it and the further up and in you go the worse it gets, just be glad it will cool off by Easter.

Sorry to intrude but I couldn't resist agreeing with this observation. Come July I'll be getting on the bus to work in shirt sleeves wondering why some are boarding with thick coats and scarves! Winter? There is no winter in Queensland... well, not in Brisbane at any rate.

Contrary to what most Melbournians (and state politicians) believe, not everything is Victoria is about Melbourne.
We don't get a lot of snow here, bit we still get our fair share of incredibly low temps.

Since arriving in Qld almost two years ago I've never used the heater in my car... I wouldn't even know if it works!!

Ok, Queensland...... what's with dropping the breeze in the evening? Just when I am beginning to cool down, the breeze disappears and it's back to 'sticky'
