Hi aussies...
I'm still around, despite a few setbacks.... health, wealth, etc.
On a positive note, I am down 26kg! Have now transitioned fully over to keto eating and am finding it quite easy despite the first few days being very confused about how it all works. Size 16 (tight) down to a size 10!!!
Had a major slap in the face yesterday when I realised that at age 50, I have either lost or given away every single substantial thing I built up (businesses, etc) and I now have nothing left to pass on to my kids.... Time to get my ass into gear and build up something for them, I think! and this time I will stay single and not allow anyone into my life that might fuck it all up for me like past partners have done. I do have an idea for a new business, but now need to get together the finance to kick it off...
Seems this weekend will be horribly messy for us down here in the forgotten part of Oz - it has already begun snowing at Cradle Mtn and we've had a day and a half of scuddy rain and gales. Good excuse to stay home and work on costings/proposals for my new venture.
Heater, computer, Dewers, and single-minded focus - that's the plan!
Stay safe and warm xx
Hey WQ

Good to see that you're being positive. Can't rely on other people to make you happy, need to find your own happy place. According to the doctors everyone is overweight unless you're a super model. Losing 26kg is a lot, just ensure to keep the curves
. Your kids will get on with life with our without any legacy, so firstly think of yourself, kinda like the safety briefing on a flight..."put the oxygen mask on yourself before assisting your children". I never expected my parents to leave me any financial legacy, it's my life and it's up to me to make the best of it so I've had to rely on my own decisions to put myself into a financial secure position. Your kids will be fine
