Well I am staying at the boyfriends house tonight because I physically can’t get home due to flooding, potholes and roads being washed away…

I'm just new to the forum (long-time reader of stories though) and I noticed there seems to be a major assumption or acceptance that most people are American, going by the headings of some of the threads.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I also couldn't see an obviously Australian thread. So I thought I'd create one.

I'm a nearly 42yo SWF (haha that makes me think of the movie and I only recent watched it). I'm in Queensland, Australia.

Turns out is was a good thing I didn’t go home last night - a tree came down on the other side of the fence and landed right where I park my car… part of me is like “woo insurance claim and new car time” but the other part is like “oh it’s just body scratches and some dints on an already old car we won’t replace it but we can have it fixed and then put your premiums up….”

Oh well…

I wonder what it takes to make your own religion…
Going to be stuck at home for a few days so need something to keep my mind busy.
