those with the most money benefitted from all that coal-burning, so the real solutions were always pressed underwater... so long as they kept getting richer, they didn't give a fuck about future generations.

50 years ago i was in school being educated about climate change, global warming... in geography, in economics, biology classes. There was that whole push to plant trees, cut back on pollutants, the dangers of aerosols... and still we are here where we are today.
