I've been asked by a number of people to do an audio story on lit. Being fairly new to Lit, I'm wondering how I would go about doing so in aspect of what program to use for recording?

LitErotica's most common audio story format is .mp3. I don't know if they'll accept .wavs (Wave format audio) or other file formats, I'd imagine .mp3 is the standard. I don't know if they have conversion capability or not.

I'm not familiar with any dedicated recording programs, but certain Voice-Over-IP (VOIP) programs like Ventrilo or TeamSpeak offer recording functionality. TeamSpeak I believe is just .wav, while Ventrilo may offer more formats. Unfortunately, both require you to have access to a server. I do have access to a Ventrilo server that may be of use. If you're interested in that you can PM me for further details.

Thank you for replying :) I did look into the FAQ section but not that much detail was given...

I suppose above all, it might help me to browse through the current audio just to get ideas...

Thank you again :)

I'd use Audacity. It's the gold standard free recording program, and it has a ton of options built in for things like equalization and noise filtering. It mostly works with its own special format, but you can export anything to WAV and also MP3 if you download the add-on.

Thank you SO much had googled earlier, came across it, glad to know your opinion, thank you :)
