I have never been called a twatwaffle and have never heard anybody say it here. We do call people “twat”very often but not with a waffle on the end. It might be used in other regions so maybe @Wand3rlust @Saltfountain or @AWonkyDonkey might have a different answer.

I wouldn’t have called you that so you are getting your Brits mixed up 🤣. I might have called you a cockwomble. I don’t know the origins of that though and I don’t use it often

I've never heard of anyone saying twatwaffle before.

However on occasions, I do reserve "spunktrumpet" for those deserving such a moniker. ;)

Twatwaffle is very much sort of a real thing...

It's an insult used for emphasis in exactly the same way as the aforementioned cockwomble and spunktrumpet.

We went through a phase of coupling an insult word with a regular noun that was just minding it's own business to form a new, 'extra' version of the insult.

My personal goto is shitweasel, but in a specific context I prefer 'the orange shitgibbon'.

My personal favourite came from a nurse during one of my hospital stays. They weren't aware I could hear but they were talking about a doctor who was a bit of a tool. She referred to him as a "moon-howling spunk-thirsty fuck-knuckle."

Thank you for validating me… thinking about it more, I think I got twatwaffle from an Irish YouTube channel that I watch. Not British, I know, but Irish also have much better insults than us Americans!
