So i picked my baby up from his first week of sleepover camp.

It was a camp my ex-husband picked through his church and I read all the literature and agreed as its lots of outdoor activity (i'm spiritual but not religious - recovering Catholic).

He's gone to public school his whole life with no incident, he goes to church camp and gets bullied. *grrrrrrr*

Then he tells me about this game mafia he plays... Where there are various ways to die (he died by a knife in the back). I'm one of those moms that doesn't let my kids play violent games ... They play Mario, Kirby, DK etc.

Kids will be little assholes (mine included, occasionally) everywhere but I had to bite my tongue when he was talking about being bullied and when he told me about the game i was like I'm so glad we paid to send you to church camp to play murder games. *eyeroll*

Church-run summer camps are the worst: Wife has told me what went on when she attended them. Hell, I did day-camps run by churches and the shaming and bullying that went on made you think the "Christians" were hypocrites
