I just started taking the files which have been sent to me & creating the manuscript document for v2. Many of them do not have the proper spacing of paragraphs. Many have sloppy errors of punctuation and/or spelling.

I did a lot of such clean up on volume 1 -- and I'm not doing it again. It's extraordinarily time consuming, not to mention unfair.

So, everyone, PLEASE take a look at the material you sent to me and make sure it's up to snuff per formatting (ESPECIALLY paragraph spacing & indents), then RE-SEND your file to me at impressive@eroticanthology.com

Failure to do so will delay the publication of v2 indefinitely.

Re-sent files that still do not meet guidelines will be bumped to a later volume and the v2 slots given to other authors who are willing to shoulder their share of the load.

I'm not putting my name (even if it is a pseudonym) on a half-assed product. If y'all want it published, everyone will have to take responsibility for their own work -- or this project will end with only one volume.

Files were supposed to be e-mailed to me by July 31st. I'll give it to the end of this week, and then volume 2 dies on the vine. We can still make the planned publication date if people pull their weight.

Indent settings- special is on first line and then it's set to 0.38"

I had some formatting problems, due to... well, I can't remember what, I just remember I didn't know how to/or wasn't able to fixe them. If it's further a problem, then let me know. I'll see what I can do.

Okay ... Let's try this again.

I don't want to go through each individual story and point out the problems to each individual author. That would create more work for me, not less. Thus, I'm not gonna do it.

I do want each individual author to check their own work and re-send their files once they've checked it. Everyone. That doesn't mean to ask me if theirs was okay -- it means to check it and re-send it. Simple, really.


(I am reminded of the recent thread in which Zoot commented that not following a publisher's submission guidelines was a sure way to have the submission rejected. Case in point.)
