ATTENTION LITEROTICA AUTHORS: possible stolen stories

Trying to capitalize on Lit's success - assholes!!!! Does Laurel know? (and can anything be done?)

It probably isn't close enough to warrant action, I suppose. Jerks!!!

Guys, I looked over the site and I would doubt that stories would be stolen from lit over there.

They pay for their erotica and have a release form policy. Hate to admit it, but I'm thinking of shinying up a few things for submission to them.

also: to quote from their home page

Literoticaffeine of Stimulating Enterprises would like to thank ******* Enterprises' literotica and literotica dot com for an education in Trademark Law. Note: Literoticaffeine is in no way affiliated with ******* Enterprises' literotica or literotica dot com though we admire their marketing efforts and voracity in protecting the literotica trademark. LC is a stimulating sex stories site full of adult tales, advice, tips, games, and a full adult shopping site. If you have a few stories or tales to contribute, then please see the writer's guidelines

I was just about to ask what would make Todd think our stories were stolen just because that site had a similar name... But, it looks like DN summed everything up now.

In any case, most of the stories on Literotica would fail the LC acceptance criteria. Many of the stories would fail several.

I quote:
  1. Consult "Chicago Manual of Style" (do not use punctuation such as, "!!!" or "!?!")
Spell check and Grammar check is a must
Proofread, proofread, proofread - catch all the mistakes that spell check and grammar check don't catch.
Length of stories accepted are 2000 words to 7500 words
    [/list=1]

  1. Ouch!

I partially agree with you; there are many stories on Lit so filled with errors it is difficult to wade through them. But not most.

Now why, oh why, I wonder, would this be posted as an unregistered? It really diminishes your point.

Nice name - you caught me with that one!

Tsk tsk tsk - you certainly sound like a shit-stirrer, hmmm? ;)

Well, about half of them fail the size criterion, maybe more.

There is a reason for the name, which I won't go into in public. Send me feedback through the Members' Search if you really want to know.

Some of the stories here needs editing, and mine really need a work over. However, I'm willing to bet that their readership doesn't even come close to Lit's. See, I even fucked that up :)

If you are thinking of becoming a professional, I would sugguest working stories over more, but you can bet that the readers here will love your stories and will tell you so.

To hell with other sites. This is a shit load of entertainment.

You all can probably tell that I'm wasted. Having fun on Lit and thinking of all the things that I've done that would make great stories.
