Attaching Music Files -- Gmail

In the scheme of things, I guess this isn't that big a deal, but...

I cannot seem to figure out how to attach an mp3 file to an e-mail using my Gmail account.

When I try to do it, it always get an error. I've tried everything I can think of and followed Gmail's instructions.

I've tried it using IE7, Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome.

I'd be ever so grateful for whatever help anyone can provide before I start kicking my computer.

this is probably due to the size of the MP3, bg. i've rec'd the odd MP3 via gmail in the past in the past. check out the file size.

I agree with ed I've sent mp3's before but I know Gmail is really fussy about size..

Do you attach the music file straight from your iTunes (I'm taking a huge leap in assuming that you have one)

I do it that way, and rarely do I have a problem.
