Atlantic Hurricanes

Can we expect the worst this year like they expected last year, and the year before that, and the year before that.....

A hurricane thread with 5 posts, and two of them are the political chuckleheads trying to get some clever points.

Would you guys give it a rest ffs?

The expectation is for fewer Atlantic hurricanes than typical because of the El Niño.

Of course, I get my weather news from weather folk, and not from political folk. I find it really helps!

So you're one of those science weirdos.

We should have a Hurricane Pool.

Which do y'all pick as this season's big-uns?

I'm hoping Nana wreaks news-worthy havoc, just cause it would sound silly on CNN.

Shoulda named "Paullette" "Polo" instead.

Please keep your hurricanes on your side of the Atlantic.

Bertha did considerable damage over here.

We are heading for a record wet and cold August.

Aren't you heading into the months where "wet and cold" are pretty much the norm? Well, except I remember that September can still be nice. And don't forget dark. My fond memories of winter in the UK are summed up with those three adjectives: dark, wet, and cold. But it did make the summers all that more enjoyable.

Has, "The Old Farmer Almanac", verified this yet?

On an aside:
I hope you hava a nice warm winter jacket, because,
it's gonna get frickin' cold.

Look out Bermuda !!!!!!
