Sara beamed.

"Yes, thank you my Queen! Are the catalogs in the library? I really don't know. Can you please show me, my Queen?"

She had almost spoken faster than her brain again, but fortunately remembered her place.

Things had not gotten any easier for her. A little softer around the edges perhaps, but no easier.

The King heard a knock off in the distance. He looked down to Lizzy.

"I'm sorry my pet but I must go and see who that is. Finish getting washed up and then you may do as you wish."

He gets up out of the bath and quickly puts some cloths on. Then he anwers the door.

"I thought I said I did not want to be disturbed."

The slave answered.
"Sire it is a new day and I was told to wake you for the days meetings and such."

The King.
"Hmm. Do you know where the Queen is at the moment slave?"

The Slave
"I last saw the Queen with the slaves Sara and Ken my lord.I believe they are going to the library Sire."

"Thank you that'll be all."

He heads to the library.

lizzy is suprised and a little disappointedc by the kings sudden departure, but she does not complain. she continues to bathe, taking her time to get clean and relax.

eventually she climbs out of the water, wrapping a warm towel around her slim body. moving to the kings bedroom, she cannot resist climbing into his large, soft bed. she falls asleep quickly, resting peacefully.

some hours later, she wakes. she regretfully leaves the warm bed, and smiles when she sees the dress the king had ordered for her hanging on the door. she picks it up, fingering the fine and elegant material before stepping into it. admiring herself for a moment in the mirror, she smiles at the happy, content image she finds there.

she lingers for a while more in the kings chambers before she begins to feel uncomfortable being there without him. she decides to leave the room and walk the halls of the castle, for doing this had always soothed her in the past.

 

[Faremistress]

"Of course I will go to the library with you swrrtie, though I am not sure where they are myself." she said to Sara as they headed down the hall.

The library was beautiful, full of rich brown and burgandy leather. The Queen walked over to one of the desks and looked around on top for the catalogs, not finding any on top, she turned to the slaves, "I had better wait until I speak with the King. I do not want to rummage through his desk with out him knowing.

Before the slaves could answer she heard the door open and the King had walked in. "My King" she said with a bow. She never liked to curtsy, and to her a bow was more respectful.

"There you are my love. How was your night?"

Sara imitates the Queen, bowing to him as he enters.

"My King," she echoes the Queen, but softer, and after she has done so.

She shivers slightly. She trusts him less than ever she did the Queen.

The Queen returns Alucards smile, "My night was very enjoyable. I do hope all went well with yours."

She reached out to hold Sara's hand, senseing her nervousness. "I was trying to find some shopping catalogs for Sara and Ken to look through, but I am not sure where to look." she said to the King, her cheeks turning a bit flush.

Sara takes the Queen's hand, her face turned down, looking at neither the King or Queen.

She blushes lightly, shifting uncertainly. She beigns to wonder how the King feels about the Queen becoming so ... close to a slave.

The King pays no mind to his wife holding Sara's hand and quickly finds what the Queen is looking for.

"Here these should be what you are looking for. Umm..I was wondering if we could spend the day together M'lady?"

"Of course, I would like that." she smiled at him. "Sara, you and Ken go through those books, then take then to the others. And if there is time Ken can start your lessons." she told the girl as she walked over to the King.

Ken kept quiet, and simply bowed as the King entered, and bowed once more as he left with the queen. Ken turned to face Sara. Taking 4 of the books, he pointed to a nearbye table. "Shall we?"

Paige takes his offered hand and a shiver runs down her spine. She tries to speak, but all she manages is a smile.

He takes her threw several halls and up several flights of stairs. Finally they come to a door at the top of a flight of stairs. The King opens the door.

"Welcome to your kingdom my love."

He guides her through the door to a balcony that over looks the entire kingdom and more.

Paige lets out a small gasp of amazement. "I never realized how beautiful it was, or how big. All of this is yours?" she asked pointing out at all she could see. She looked up at him and smiled. She knew he loved it here. She could also feel his love for her, and hoped one day she would feel the same way.

She opens one up, gasping at the pictures, some simple drawings, some painted pictures, of various kinds of dresses, furnature, artwork, and various kinds of vials.

"Umm.. I dunno even where to start. I mean ... I gotta find some nice things. But ... Okay, what does this word mean?"

She pointed to a word beneath a vial of perfume.

"That's 'Romance'. It seems to be the name of that perfume." He said.

"What exactly did the queen ask you to look for?" Ken wondered.

"No not all mine...It is all ours my sweet."
He moves close to her and whispers.
"I would really like to kiss you right now."

Paige was stunned by his words. And oh how she wanted him to kiss her. She moved just a bit closer to him, her body trembling, and closed her eyes. She fell into his body as her knees went weak. She could not believe the effect he was having on her.

she feels indignation rise in her chest at his blatant accusation. what buisness was it of his if the king favored her?

"Choosing shouldn't take long. Teaching you how to read may take a few weeks, though."
