Weddings can be very sexy. Especially if the couple celebrating is young and attractive. They will tend to have young and attractive friends and family. This means lots of young people in formal wear, looking their best, feeling good because it's a happy time, doing a lot of dancing and getting to know one another AND participating in ritual after ritual that celebrate fertility, life renewal, the union between man and woman, etc. Anyway, you get the picture. Is it any wonder new romances often sprout from weddings?

This story is based on an experience i almost had not too long ago.

Ron and Mike work together in Chicago. Mike is getting married to a girl named tiffany, whom he went to college with back on the east coast. She's actually from california, however, and her family still lives there. So the wedding will be in tiffany's hometown. All of their friends and family fly from around the world to california for a summer wedding, including Ron, who is one of the groomsmen.

On bachelor night the groomsmen meet, have a few drinks and talk to get to know each other at a ball game. Everyone hits it off despite Mike being the only mutual friend they all have. They then take the strait-laced mike out to a strip club where they get him good and sloshed for possibly the first time in his life. They also get him, and themselves, quite a few lap dances. Most of them from two strippers in particular, one cute blonde cowgirl type, kind of short and full of curves; one tall, leggy brunette who makes enough money from the group to finance a sports car.

Two days later the wedding takes place. Then everyone retires to the wedding party's hotel for the reception. Once there, Ron is delighted to see that Joe has arrived and is seated at his table. Joe was a former co-worker who has moved out west. He's there with an incredibly hot date, an italian gal named bianca, slim with classic dark features and long dark brown hair and a mouth that curls into a sexy smile. When Joes slips away to the open bar, Ron joins him there and congratulates him on his "gorgeous" girlfriend.

"Oh, she's not my girlfriend," Joe says. "She's just a friend of mine from college who lives down here. I'm not seeing anyone right now, so i needed a date."

The green light is on, Ron thinks. He approaches her, offers to "buy" her a drink and escorts her to the dance floor, where they both proceed to cut loose. His hands slide easily over the lacy brown material of her mini-dress as it clings to her hips, which never stop swaying as she turns, whirls and grinds against him on the dance floor through number after number. Her lips curled into that slightly wicked grin and her mischievous giggle accompanying every tune.

...So that's the set up. Ron's luxury suite at the hotel overlooking the cliffs is a mere 100 feet or so from the dance floor at the reception, where he and Bianca are dancing. In the story, they would sneak away there after a long slow dance and have an experience they will both remember forever, carefully returning separately to the reception to find that no one knows what they just did.

Sound like fun?

At my wedding reception I got so drunk I fell on my ass three times while they were trying to auction my garter, and they ended up having to hold me up.
The auctioneer was saying "show em a little leg" and then saying....whoah! not that much! Gotta leave a little to the imagination!
The garter ended up going for something like $550 and a friend of my husband's took it off with his teeth.
My reception was actually a lot of fun, and could probably make a pretty cool story, lol. Never really thought about it much.

Oddly enough...PLS thinks to herself...there were six attendants (three bridesmaids and three groomsmen), and four of those are now married to each other....maybe the reception was even more fun than I thought... ;)

LOL, sounds like your auctioneer was a fast thinker and your reception must have been a blast.

One wedding i didn't go to last year, but heard about, resulted in 7 marriages. I am not at all surprised to hear what happened among your wedding party. It kind of makes sense, you're friends of two people who fell in love. That means you probably have much in common w/the other members of the party. I have been a groomsman 2 years in a row now and both years i've gotten along great w/everyone in the wedding party -- except my one friend's brother who stayed drunk and in everyone's face all weekend. But we all enjoyed ourselves in spite of him!:D

We are going to a wedding this weekend in Wyoming, the younger brother of our best man (also a good friend) is getting married to this girl from down there. So we have reserved rooms in this big part of the hotel (I think we take up most of the floor), and we are going to party all weekend and forget that we are in our 20's instead of our teens...should be fun.

Maybe I'll get a story out of it for ya. ;)

Sounds like a great time! And FWIW, i think i partied harder and better in my 20s than my teens!

I'll look forward to that story!:p

Problem with that being that we are all married with kids, now, so we aren't supposed to party harder than we did in our teens...

must admit. no wife or kids yet to slow down the partying. Gf has a child though. And come to think of it, we haven't done all that much partying. i'm still only 30 though. I've got time....I think.

wedding story

You may want to check out stories that have been done using this setting. Ray Dario has two posted. Seems he found the cheating aspects of brides-to-be pretty powerful stuff.

The idea of a cheating bride takes the infidelity thing up a couple of notches.

Have a good time in Wyoming, pretty lil stranger. Look for some Tennessee license plates. Rumor has it, those folks will volunteer for anything.

Lol...you're falling into the trap!

And to be perfectly honest, only one of us has slowed down on the partying all that much. One of us is out all the time while the other one is at home with the kids, screwing around on lit...oh wait, I just gave it away, didn't I!?

hmmm go out and party, or stay home and screw around on lit. hmmm. decisions, decisions.

LOL! can't believe you're letting him get away with that. or maybe you think you got the good end of that deal?

One of the hottest stories i ever read was about a bride to be and her soon-to-be father in law making eye contact in the church the morning of the wedding, right after they each arrived. The story tracks how they fantasize about each other while they get into their formal wear and then, upon making eye contact across the sanctuary again just a few hours before the wedding, slipped into a side room together.

She leans against the wall and he presses against her.

"We shouldn't," he says. She nods her agreement. Then he proceeds to take her standing up against the wall.

Her legs were still a little shaky as she walked down the aisle.

That was a great read. Saw it many years ago.

Someone would have been looking for the bride...lol.

Anyway, it's an interesting idea, are you going to write it? ;)

Of course someone would've been looking for the bride. And they could rest assured she was coming! No, it wasn't realistic but it was hot. It was set up like a quickie, one off encounter. And it really worked that way. Very intense and over as quickly as it started.

As for your question, are you asking me whether i'm going to write the original idea that i posted here, or another version of this quickie i related here?

I may write the original idea but i'm a little concerned that if i do, i'll touch on some details that could identify people involved. That sounds silly, i know, but that is going through my mind.

Keep asking though. Your encouragement may be what i need to get me to take the plunge. You already got me thinking with the comments you made the other night after i made reference to "dirty little stories."

What do you mean it might make reference to the people involved? I suppose I would solve that problem by not showing it to them?

anyone could come here to Lit, that's what i'm saying. I didn't say it was a rational concern.:)

And the names and places definitely will be changed. I did that when i brought up the idea.
