Amazing.

This series has been too long and difficult to follow. It really amazes me at how many "H"s there are since there have been no public comments from any actual readers. Running a vote scam with multiple computers?

I don't know that i have to defend myself but the beer tonight was good.

most of my stories were originally posted before the days of public comments. each story can be read on it's own but preferably should be read in order.

at least i bothered to submit them. he couldn't even get a user name.

probably another troll who will give them all a one.

oh well. back into my shell.

See, he tipped it off with the most important sentence....This series has been too long and difficult to follow.

Just leave a comment that you understand his concerns and will attempt to write something more appropriate to his comprehension level the next time around....perhaps if you keep it to less than a page and don't use any words with more than two syllables?

Well, Trolls suck. I Wouldn't let this get to you. If you don't mind me asking, was it in Loving Wives or Incest? Those are the two cats that get trolled the most. Oddly enough, they are also two of the most popular.
Don't let big stupid heads get you down! Me an Guido'll take care a him for you.

they are in novels

they are in novels and novellas.

i was on another site but left because of the voting system. i came here in 2001.

it was in the early days of lit. not too many stories about then. i once had 30 stories on the first page of novels etc. hence the high number of 'H's. not many people read them now. as the man says. it is one very long story.

Well if he has a problem with long stories...why is he in novellas and novels. Obviously the person couldn't break down the alphabet so it seemed like pages of mush. You are a fine writer, I'm sure. He just didn't realize that novels online are the same as the ones in bookstores...long.

They're whining about a novel/novella story being too long? What the heck did they expect. Sounds like a real dumbass to me, and instantly ignorable.

I've not seen you in here before, Paul.
I see that almost all of The Paul and Jenny series are in the mid4's, with the later ones in the high 4's and a few 5's thrown in.
His comment was on the first chapter. I wonder how far he read?

Ken

The reason you got so many H's and so few comments is beacuse your readers were too tired from masturbating to do anything but rate.

It's hard to be eloquent in a state of ecstasy.

Indeed.

:cathappy:

Paul, I am in awe because of the multiple E's and H's your work has earned here on Lit.

Well done.

And ignore the idiot Troll.

Yes, Paul, ignore the troll. And well done.

In a quick aside, what did you do to see the scores, Ken? They're not on his story page nor on his stories when I searched his name.

If you look at the category lists, the scores are shown. Not the toplist, the full list.

Wow, I'm amazed he/she had the gall to accuse you of vote scamming. If they had ever actually submitted a story themselves they'd know one comment per 30 or 40 votes isn't unheard of. Middle chapters of serials often get far fewer comments than first and last chapters.

From your other comments it seems you take trolls far too seriously. Who cares what one ignorant fool thinks?

i don't think so

I don't think I take peoples comments to heart. I only wish that they read the stories first. Then if they don't like them fine. Vote and comment away.

I don't think it matters who you are. Even if you're one of those who emphatically state that you don't care about comments, votes, contests, etc., still, once in a while, you look at your submission page, read the comments . . . and the bad ones get to you, at least a little.

I've been there, Paul. I've received comments that really bother me, not because they are insulting to me in particular, but because the reader who left them seemed to have completely missed the point of the story. And then I wonder if that comment has any impact upon subsequent ones.
