Which Batman? {Concerning actor}

or do you mean Bruce Wayne {Batguys alter ego}

Just a silly question is all..............

here is another one.........

Do you know why the water is all dumped underneath the rockets of the Space Shuttle when it's engines reach 95% thrust?

And the question might be, did you even know the above question?

i didn't know but i am going to speculat a guess here

at the heat produced the metal would not sustain the wait so the water even though it would be immedieately evasporated would cause a hot forging process stretghening the metal ensurin tits stretgh to hold the wieght

How wrong am I?

I will try and help ya Todd. It was once shown on "Wings" or something of that nature. It was a special on the Space Shuttle itself..........damn I can't believe I stumped ya? Once you find the answer you will think just like I did........HUH? It has to do with physics and stresses.......it is kind of stupid trivia but just the same it is interesting.

Lemme give er a whirl and see if I can point you better in the direction.

alright good luck, that site the navigation is like the bremuda triangle to me i get lost and go no wehre fast the harder to try

would it have something with the thrust pushing off againt the water steam pressure surface tension dealy bob

Todd,

You are kind of on the right track ~ sort of.

Hey I got it email NASA and ask em..........LOL

I will find it somewhere and PM or email it or paste it for ya.

1)i did feel slighted that nobody remeber that this hateful tend was my brain child and a bit lonely because the average random mention of Todd quotiant had severly dropped.

2) i haven't been able to follow spiderman that much but playing a SNES Rom game the other day on my puter i see a spider man clone named 'doppleganger" is that what you be after?

Its cheaper to just use the machinaery and molds already there than to go ad make a new nold for brailless key pads.

You know maybe they are driving that would explain some of the drivers around this town.

Not the 4 armed doppleganger created during the Infinity War Saga but the Clone created by the university professor who was jealous of him.

Okay Todd. Here's another question?

Which would take the longest, takeoff to landing?

A European Sparrow leaving Atlanta, Georgia and flying to Paris, France, or a 747 leaving the South Pole and flying to the North Pole?

Todd,

Though I have not found it on the good ole web, yet. Here is the basic principle behind the answer.

Upon the Shuttle's main rockets reaching something like 90-95% of maximum thrust......simultaneously over 300,000 gallons of water are dropped into the "pit" just underneath them (i.e. the hole or subsurface underneath them). This is done so that the Space Shuttle does not vaporize on the launch pad. Maybe vaporize is a bit strong but nonetheless the Shuttle would in fact be destroyed by the sonic waves or stress created by all the thrust being forced downward, eventually that wave of stress must go back up, so the water is dropped and flooded under the shuttle to essentially dissipate the waves that in fact would destroy the shuttle.

That is the jist of it, one of these days I will find an article about it and post it for ya. See it is physics and stresses that they are counter acting.......... Cool or just useless information?
