The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.
However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.

From what I've seen of your skin, it's worth being comfortable in. But maybe the first five items will help with the sixth.
Here's how I stay comfortable in my skin: Stretch your arms out to the side. Turn around once in a circle. That space you just carved out of the air with your fingertips? That's your whole universe. That's it. We can only take care of fingertip to fingertip, make that world work like we wish the big one did. And of course, your daughters fit in that circle with you, and your future lover. But the rest of the air is other people's worlds, like the common space in a condo complex, and we don't control that, we only navigate it.
I play piano. If you cut my hair, I'll play you a song.
