Well, I am still trying to sort out the rest of the pics. :) have a good weekend gusty

those are really beautiful pics erc... I particularly like the one of the valley from above... and the lake pic was real nice..

they make me a little bit homesick as I grew up with the Appalachian's in my backyard. Was actually in that neighborhood this summer when I took my son to look at UVA.

Definitely late Fall pics... our Fall here was soooo short!!!.. one day I was taking foliage pics.. and the next day snow pics

It was pretty sudden for sure... from maple leaves on a tree this past Sunday

am looking forward to seeing the rest of your pics.... :D

Very nice. Love the leaves in the ice pictures.... we still haven't had any frost or snow this season. When it was cold it was usually very dry.
On my trip when it was having thunderstorm, so I got off the park and took a tour into a cavern called Luray Cavern. This is the most interesting part of it... The bottom was actually a pool of very shallow water. However, because it is always calm and clean, it almost as the bottom is like having another set of lime stone.

They call this the fish market, because it looks like countless fishes hanging on the roof.

The weather can change rapidly on the mountain.... in the morning it was all foggy and raining

I wrote a paper once upon a time a long time ago on Cloud imagery in Chinese nature poetry...

here is another shot that I didn't boomspeed cause its not as good as the others

ice tree

Oh... I think you had asked about how we do this.... I actually pay for a site to store my photos externally and then use the "Img" function, we still have to resize the photos for linking into Lit though, but not as severely as attaching them... about 660 wide 620 high is the max for comfortable viewing.

Wow! Still very COLD here. . i thought is gonna get warmer ..Begore the REAL winter Hit us..
