Asian Male/Black Female Story Idea

Hi all this is my 2nd post on here. I have been reading stories on this site for a few years now and I have only read one BF/AM story. It was ok, but I'd like to see something more in-depth and with more developed characters.

I have been writing little stories in my journals since my freshman year of college and I have just started an AM/BF story. I just do it in my free time when I'm daydreaming or before I go to bed. I'm not very good with writing out every little detail and keeping my thoughts organized so I wanted to suggest it here. I already have the bare bones of the story written, the plots, characters and background story. I even have a second part to it that I can't seem to finish.

I just wanted to know if anyone was interested in using this idea to make a story. I would love to see it all nice and neatly written on here. If you want more details let me know.

I'm curious. Since I'm not very race-oriented, I really don't see what's the big deal about Asian males and black females getting together. Is there some sort of racial tension between the two groups? Some major cultural differences that makes this coupling interesting? I'm not challenging you, please understand; just curious. If there is a basis for a good story here, I'd like to know about it. Thanks!......Carney

Well I don't think that there has to be any "tension" between the races for the story to be interracial. They just happen to be a BF/AM couple that's all. They are just 2 people that like each other. There a quite a few AM/WF stories, but these two groups don't have much tension. I just wanted to see something that isn't done much. That's all.

I don't know if there's tension really, but as an asian male I can say it's pretty rare for an AM and BF couple to happen.

Why? Your preferences aside, why can't other Asian males be attracted to black females and vice versa?

Actually not true. I know an Asian guy that will date nothing but Black women. One of my really good friends seems to get hit on by an Asian guy every week and I myself have been with 2. I'm not saying that it's as common as a WF/AM or WM/AF. All I said was that I wouldn't mind reading a story about it. It doesn't have to be real.

All I was asking was, what makes this concept interesting? If you had asked for a story about a blond-haired girl and a brown-haired dude, I'd say, what's the point? So if there aren't any tensions or issues here, what is the point of the story?

I wasn't upset. Actually that last post wasn't eve directed toward you. There doesn't have to be tension for it to work. I just want something different that's all. Not everything interracial is Black and White. I just wanted to see a story about a Black woman and an Asian male. Is that so wrong? Seriously? If so just don't respond to this thread. It really has nothing to do with their races at all, but if you don't say a race everyone will automatically assume that the characters are White. That's the main reason why it's important

Plus I stated in my original message that I wasn't a writer but I had the background story set up and if anyone was interested I would give them more details. Apparently all anyone read was BF/AM. That's sad.

I personally think that any story involving an interracial couple should be put in the Interracial category, but it might as well be put into Erotic Couplings. The reason Carnevil9 asked is because the interracial category very often brings out the social tension/conflict in (mainly) American society when a white and black person date. And I think the question was mainly aimed from a story angle pov. A conflict always make a story more interesting.

As for Asian and black couples. From my own experiences, as well as my Asian friends' there are tensions. Chinese people usually stick to dating Chinese it seems, and in general Asian people seem to have even more issues with dating out of their own race than westerners. I'm talking people who actually live Asia.

As other people have already said, there has to be something besides the female and male wanting to be together to make it a story.

I know this is stereotypical, but perhaps they come from different cultures, and have fun immersing each other in their cultures? This is the same type of story as "rich guy / poor girl". Have some fun with the different backgrounds and expectations.

Maybe their families could cause some problems for the couple?

Maybe her friends could keep asking her why she's "trading down"?

All of my stories are about white men with black women, mostly because I'm a white man who finds black women most attractive. :D Therefore, I put all of my stories into the Interracial section, even though in most of them the element of tension between different races getting together isn't present, at least not overtly. The question of race is so important to many readers (at least in America) that I feel that I have to put them there. If I put them in Erotic Couplings (or other categories where some could fit) I'm afraid I'd get trolled or attacked by readers complaining "this isn't what I came here for! Get back into the Interracial Section!"

I wouldn't worry about that too much unless race is a central focus of the stories. So far my stories have involved a biracial couple, but since skin color/race isn't part of the plot, I put them in EC. I wondered about that too, but I've only gotten one weird "get that unnatural crap off of here" email.

As for Asians, so far they are statistically more homogeneous in their dating/marriage choices though that doesn't mean no Asian male ever dates a BF. It's just that historically most Asian countries have retained a fairly homogeneous population, in part because of isolationist politics.

In any case, I think the author of this thread just wants a story involving those two characters rather than one exploring the interracial aspect of their relationship.

That is exactly what I wanted to say and people to understand. Thank you.

Yeah that's more what I meant. Not that I'm not attracted to BF's, it's just a lot more rare. I mean for the person whose friend only goes after black females, I don't doubt it happens, but it's more on the rare side. I guess not really what the original poster was looking for though :)
