Ashdown Academy (OOC)

Ashdown Academy, a world renowned institution that has trained some of the greatest figures in the world, some people pay small fortunes just to get admitted, while some are sought out and asked to come, free of charge. But that's just what's known to the public, the truth behind it is far more sinister, the school doesn't exist to teach humans, it does due to circumstance, but its true purpose is to teach Angels and Demons the tools of their trade, so that when they leave they know how to swing the souls of mortals to good or evil.

It's existed in one form or another for longer than recorded history, one small scrap of neutral ground in the constant battle for the souls of mankind where Angels, Demons and humans all live together, and never before has its halls tolerated anyone breaking the truce that keeps the establishment running. But now as a new year begins, something is coming that could ruin it all, for the first time since before the school was founded, Satan himself has spawned another child, and its time for it to learn the family business.



Well I hope that's interested a few of you, basic idea is angels and demons in a school with humans, I'm hoping for an equal mix of the three, and mainly students, though faculty positions are available if you have a really good character idea.

Hi Kitten.

Could I play an angel? As I'm sub/maso it would be fun to play a student angel, maybe in her final year and a top student, who is corrupted/raped by a demon. Because she is the best in her class, a demon/satan's son singles her out to stalk/pursue and corrupt/defile, maybe for a bet or just to prove that he can. That would prevent her from ever serving God as an angel, right? I think it would be hot for her to be forced to become a demon's personal possession/slave, serving in part as a warning to other angelic students of just how far they can fall.

What do you think? If you like the idea I'll put together a more detailed profile.

Well I'd love to have a good sub-angel on board, but the role of Satans offspring is still up for grabs (if no one else takes it I will, I like to let others take important roles) so how that would play out would be between you and his or her player.

Fair enough. When I read your first post I did assume you would want the Satan's offspring role for yourself. I'll sit back and see if a fantasy nemesis strolls in.

My actual plan was to play a bodyguard sent along by the father, along with random characters if the need was there (such as teachers, the headmaster and others) but yes, even if the spawn of satan doesnt want to have a nice Angel all of their own to play with, your character is more than welcome

So what race would the headmaster/mistress be? That would certainly put a slant on things.

So far he is the only guy. I'm pretty sure that's not by design. I've noticed that girls are usually the first to join any group rp I've ever been in, it's kind of strange.

probably because most guys won't join up until there are girls present.

Since I swing both ways, at least while rping, it doesn't seem to matter to me. Whether it's girl or guy heavy. In reality though girls are a lot more fun!

Mkay, the easy part is images, I have a threw a bunch of angel and demon pictures on to an imageshack account, and Human images shouldnt be to hard to find if you want some (if any of you need images, feel free to take one)

Human character ideas:
Holy assasin, some kind of zelot sent to gain satans daughters trust then kill her
A random oblivious human student

Demon character ideas:
Rival demon, Hell is anything but united, and not everyone thinks satan should have so much power, eliminating or converting his daughter would be a good idea to some.

Angel character ideas:
An angel of justice, a real incoruptable flaming sword and wrath of god type, has less intrest in influenceing the humans at the school and more in making sure the demons dont try the same things on the angels.
A muse, specialises in working with artist types and inspiring them to greatness, probably rather laid back for an angel.

Generic Ideas:
Student council president, there are two councils, one is the angel and demon one, and the other is the normal student one. The student one is just as you would expect, while the other one deals with things like enforcing the rule that all angels and demons muct remain in human form.
School nurse/counciler, nurse uniforms are hot
Vice principal, the principal is a demon/angel, the vice principal is a human and deals with the human students.

If none of those catch your fancy I could think of more

Yes you may, and it may have been hard, but I would have given it my best, thats just the kind of guy I am.
