Adam Logan had trained and studied to become the SG program's next "Jackson or Carter" he was more like the nervous McKay who he had spent much of his training with. He was good at the strange scientific of the other worlds they had access to and enjoyed learning about them. His sister Daria, however was the "super" soldier of the family. IQ was the only thing they had in common in all honesty she was fearless and had managed to maneuver herself into the SG military ranks when the Marines had begun to bore her, and they were tired of trying to reign her in.

Yinra... The last surviving Jaffa tasked with guarding the Sarcophagus of the dark one. She has tried to study the warning around the golden tomb but does not understand how one so young if the tales are true could be so evil as to scare the Gods themselves.

Orders are simple... Destroy anyone who tries to open the sarcophagus

They had found her as a child on earth long before humans really got going with any real technology. They had never seen a being like the child nor had the Goauld and they would soon learn to regret not destroying her. Inanna had her locked away centuries ago for her own good They never got to see the side that was kind and almost innocent all they saw was the psychotic break from the total absorption of the symbiote into the system. She was human but unlike any human they had ever encountered before.
Nanaya (Symbiote "name") Arina (Mortal birth name). Due to complete absorption believes innocently that her name is Nanaya Arina.

Caleb Archer was a grad student in a prestigious college studying history and archaeology when he came across a book written by Dr. Daniel Jackson that suggested that ancient aliens may have used the pyramids of Giza as ancient landing platforms for their starships. It sounded farfetched but as Dr. Jackson laid out his evidence in his book Caleb was finding it harder and harder to just laugh it off as nonsense. Unfortunately when he proposed to make his thesis paper on the same subject his Professor he found was one of Dr, Jackson's most ardent and vocal detractors. He did not take kindly to Caleb's defense of Dr. Jackson's premise, and was vindictive enough to flunk him for it.

So now with a mountain of student loan debt to pay off and no degree and a burning need to pursue the path the questions Dr. Jackson's book laid out he joined a black market ring to illicitly trade relics for wealthy private collectors. Until federal investigators busted the whole cabal and arrested him.

This was a low point for Caleb. In jail the feds came to him, or at least they said they were feds, and offered him a deal. Work for the NID and they'd sweep the criminal charges against him under the rug. so for two years he worked as part of another illicit ring taking ancient treasures from their rightful owners, but this time using a relic known as a stargate to travel to alien worlds populated by people transplanted there centuries ago by the same aliens that Dr. Jackson hypothesized in his book to use those technologies to defend earth.

there was one relic, a sacred oblong spherical device, on planet PLX-900171-A that helped the natives grow their crops on a barren lifeless desert planet. The only livable area being the radius of the energy field producing the green oasis on it. His team of the NID gated in during the local night and took it from the temple it was housed in. It left the peaceful people completely helpless/

He expressed his misgivings about this to his handlers, but they did not care. So he began collecting data...on what devices went where and just who was funding his superiors. Weeks later when teams from the SGC raided the offplanet base for the NID he turned over his data helping them not only return the devices back to the people who they belonged to but also was key to busting the upper echelon leadership of the NID itself.

To this end Dr. Jackson himself offered him a second chance. He would come work, under a probationary status, for the SGC first as a researcher and now for the past month as a SG team's archeology specialist.

Elian Alvarez's grandparents fled from communist Cuba to the United States and settled there in Miami Florida. They taught their son, Elian's father a virulent hatred for all forms of totalitarian regimes and a love for the freedom and democracy exemplified by the USA. So it was of no surprise when his father joined the US Navy as a Navy Seal and served their new homeland for many many years and taught his own son the values of freedom, democracy, and service to one's country in turn. So when Elian turned eighteen he too joined up to serve the US armed forces. This time as an US Air Force Special Forces operator. In his career he served in Iraq twice, Afghanistan three times, until he was reassigned and promoted to a top secret post in an old nuclear missile silo in Colorado called Stargate Command. There he was made commanding officer of one of its search and recon teams....SG-14.

In his time as SG-14's commander he'd made contact with many extra-terrestrial transplanted people from Earth, gathered valuable intelligence on not just America's enemies but enemies to the freedoms of all peoples everywhere.

These Goauld...they made the oppression of Castro pale in comparison, and Elian found renewed purpose in the SGC's mission of gaining the technological, diplomatic, and material resources needed to oppose these despots.
