As the year closes...

As of this post, there are 7 minutes left on Christmas. My house is finally empty of friends and family, it's clean(ish), and I can finally sit back and relax. The only sounds I hear is that of the fireplace going and the purring of one of my cats. It was a fun day but it's time to unwind. That's got me thinking: What am I looking forward to next year. Sure, there are plans (career and personal), but what about my time here on Lit? Who will I meet next? Will an opportunity for more show up?

What about you? What are you looking forward (both on and off Lit)?

What a great question! As I finish emptying the dish washer and chuckle at my dog dreaming, I am reflecting on similar things. As the year ends, I have closed many doors and had some closed for me. Professionally, I am anticipating a new chapter and a new journey. Here on Lit? That feels very up in the air.

I’m at a point where I know what I want, both here and irl, but have absolutely no idea what’s gonna happen. Some goals may be easier to achieve than others lol
I honestly can’t say what position I’ll be in this time next year. Scary but hopefully forces resilience lol

I.... retired early this year but have since found myself sort of back into things. There were some opportunities that I just couldn't pass up.

I love my life and where it has led me, even some of the dark spots that taught me resilience, but you just never know what life will toss your way!

I hope to meet amazing people here and in real life!

2025 is going to be a busy year for me. Lots of social events and travel. I'm 10lbs. away from my high school weight and it would mean the world to me if I could get the rest of it off and look hot at my brother's wedding. Even if I re-gain it back quickly.

As for Lit, who knows. I just like looking at sexy pics and reading threads.
