That and waiting for Friday to get here, finally got some time off and I have scheduled a little R&R with a special someone, if you know what I mean

That and waiting for Friday to get here, finally got some time off and I have scheduled a little R&R with a special someone, if you know what I mean

Things are ok. My mom had to have surgery today. She's going to be ok, but with all her heart and other problems, the risks of surgery complications are ten-fold for her. So I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. She had an artery in her leg that was almost 100% blocked- which is VERY BAD. They had to put two stints in it to keep it open. They had initially thought that she had a big blockage in her main coronary artery, but thank God that wasn't the case. She should be home tomorrow, but for today she was in the cardiac ICU.

I'm so glad you're going to get some R&R time
