Holding a peaceful, organized rally is much different than civil disobedience. When these folks block traffic, deface property and the like, they are making themselves targets for law enforcement by breaking the law, thereby, negating any positive influence they may have hoped to have on public opinion and the government. There is a right way and wrong way to go about things. They are just pissing people off and very possibly endangering lives, not only their own.
