I think about how beautiful the change of seasons is here in Michigan. Fall brings apple cider and donuts to mind along with Thanksgiving dinner when the family gathers around the table. For me, Spring and Fall are the harbinger seasons. They represent birth and middle age to me.

I am in the fall of my life right now and I expect that it will likely last until I am well into my 80's. This is the very best time that I have ever experienced in my life, to date. I have finally been able to grasp life's meaning.

Less is more, except when it comes to the depth of our feelings. Feelings; that's where its at. Honest feelings expressed in a loving fashion.

I agree - as much as I grumble about cold and snow - it's so nice to have 4 seasons ..

But why does winter have to hold on for so long. I love the first 2 or 3 snowstorms and then ........ "Enough already! Is it spring yet?"


And Mr Blue, very touching sentiments. You should write for Hallmark. I always get choked up at their commercials.
