When she wants them. I'm not teaching body shame.
This. Also, who cares what underwear she chooses, as long as it's clean when she puts it on.

I started wearing them when I was 15 so I wouldn't mind to have her wait until then or until she's 16.
I'm not old enough to have a 16 year old daughter, but I know the problem. The reason she wants to wear sexy underwear is because she wants someone to see her in them.

Dads don't want their daughters seen in bikinis either.
Amen.
I think it's interesting how we automatically assume that what clothing women put on their bodies has anything to do with wanting to opposite sex to fuck them. Can women who wear thongs not be celibate or a-sexual? Does that mean if I wear a turtle-neck I'm immediately not a sexual person?
Couldn't we also say that your daughter wears them because she finds them comfortable or the lack of panty-lines appealing?
The real issue is the WHY of the thong. If you taught her to love herself and treat herself right, then everything else (including sexuality) will naturally slide into place. I think when I have kids, I'll want them to express their sexuality however they want to, no matter how young;
understanding your body and your sexuality does not mean you are sexual.
Sexy does not equal sexual.
Hmmm I wear a turtle neck when I want to go out and get laid....maybe that is what I have been doing wrong!
In an age of "Toddlers and Tiaras", is the acrimony really guilt?
