Well, there's always the reversal maneuver. Forbid yourself to draw anything, absolutely anything at all for at least two or three months.
Seriously, it works sometimes.
Concentrate on other things like clay, embroidery, sewing, flower arrangements, writing, anything creative but drawing or painting. Start baking cakes and cookies. Knit a sweater.

Need I go on?

When I was in my late teens/early twenties I had a supervisor who had been given the nickname of L.B.F., or Little Big Fuck. The very first time I heard the nickname the following image came to mind. Recently I was writing a short story in which there's a group of these little guys all having sex with one particular woman all at the same time. Prior to starting that short story I had never bothered to illustrate one of these guys...

No, the guy in the pic doesn't in any way shape or form resemble the guy that had the nickname.

Those who have followed the story on the actual series know that Daria has graduated from Lawndale High school and is Currently a student at Raft University.

In my story she decides to join the "Triple cross Club" in order for her to broaden her sexual horizons. When there she discovers the joy of Bi-sexuality and slutty urges.

BlackSnake, I must confess that I don't normally use a sketchbook, though the LBF that I posted earlier was sketched out in the same sketchbook that I've had for five or six years now and have only used up a few pages. I do wish I was as prolific as yourself and Rhinoguy, and a few others. I just have this nasty habit of taking most of my ideas entirely too seriously right from the get-go.

Perhaps one day I'll just relax and have the fun with the sketches that I see in your work.

Check this out, the sketches paid off with a client I'm doing some side work for. She owns two hair salons and a spa. I was setting up a wireless network at her home and she looked over my shoulder while I was jotting down some notes. She like them and show me the nude sculptures she had done and displayed around her house. Amazing how art can bring people closer. She treated me to lunch and tried for dinner, but I had to get home to my wife. I'm hoping that I can get her to pose for me. She worksout and has a really nice round and tight ass.

Keep in touch with her and see if you can shoot some pics of her work for this thread. It would be great to have some sculpture work in here.

Rhino, my problem has always been that I have a very difficult time with just sketching. I have a tendency to only sit down and work when an idea comes to mind that I'm really interested in. I don't even do a rough sketch of the piece I'm going to create, I simply start with a 9H pencil to outline the subjects of the piece and then detail from there, but differently than doing sketch work...
