The idea is very appealing, but I do not see how I could make that happen.
I have one picture of my face and one of me standing in the garden. That's about it, on pc. LOL

Your educational system in Europe is actually superior to ours. Basically, by the time the children over there get to a certain age (This what I've heard from someone who used to teach in Europe, so bear with me if my facts are off) they are expected to make a decision about the career path that their lives will take and the remainder of their school years has a great deal of emphasis on that career.

Over here our educational system is really junked up with a lot of fluff that we're told is required even if it doesn't have a damn thing to do with our chosen vocation. We have to uphold a number of subjects in addition to the one that we're actually interested in. The number of classes we've completed successfully dictate the level of education the system says we've accomplished. There's various levels ranging from a Bachelor's Degree all the way up to a Doctorate.

Truth be told, a lot of people could be making a lot more money a lot earlier in life if they could skip most of the fluff that they're required to take.

So, in the end, it's a mystery to us also.

On to more important things...

If you know anyone who owns a digital camera and can loan you the software to install on your computer you could easily take some shots of yourself, or have a GF or SO take the shots for you. Otherwise, digital cameras can be pretty inexpensive, most have a remote control, and a dirt cheap tripod can be found at any photography store that deals with new and used equipment.

Great art in this thread! I'd love to draw something, but I'm terrible at drawing bodies. I'll see if I can put something together though at some point. Don't have a scanner though, so the images won't come out as good here. I usually take a pic of the drawing.

I had to "google" Namio as I had not heard of that artist before now. He's done some pretty nice work. Thank you for the compliment.

Your photoshop is pretty well done. My first guess of pastels was based on some works I had done years ago that looked just like this, minus the CG background. It's pretty cool what can be achieved on these programs now.

Please, by all means, post your works to your heart's desire.

Try using your polygonal lasso tool in Photoshop. You can save your selection as you go. Hold down the shift key on PC or Apple key on MAC to add more lines to your selection. You can also make use of the pen tool.
