Is it just me or have two or three of our main contributing artists vanished?

If so, I can only hope this is because they've found some well-paid outlets for their obvious talents! We can't hog them to ourselves in such circumstances.

They certainly have stopped posting but I’m sure they’re still around even if real world affairs take them from time to time.

Really wish it was the case that we as artists have found some well-paid outlets, but alas it seems as though there all too many people expecting to get artwork done instead for "exposure" or as a "collaboration", in other words, free.
It really happens all too frequently including here.

Well, if it comes to that, I'm not sure what a commercially ambitious artist would have in mind by posting on Lit. The overwhelming majority of writers here
are amateurs/doing it for sheer fun. I'd guess most of them would tend to think that any artist posting here is motivated likewise... and perhaps approachable in the way you seem to object to.

I don't see the phrase "artists for hire" anywhere in the title of this forum.

You’d be surprised what you find, but literotica is just one avenue where illustrators can showcase their works though it shouldn’t be the sole place you host your art if you’re looking to make money off of your art.
Instagram, Twitter, DeviantArt all make it hard to advertise R18 art, HentaiFoundry is one big mess, and don’t even get me started on FurAffinity.

Miss out the word "sole" and you have what I was getting at.

I see nothing wrong with any artist posting here and hoping that this may attract some kind of commercial possibility... but, given the hugely amateur nature of the site, they should scarcely be surprised at approaches which offer only collaboration or suchlike. Above all, they should not meet these with any kind of outright hostility. That's simply not fair.
