Artistic help please.

My wife has informed me that if this storm hit I am not only allowed to get, but encouraged to get a hurricane tattoo. (We've joked about this in the past but now she is seriouse about it.) Any artists out there willing to try and design a tattoo for me?

I was originaly thinking about getting the symbol used on maps but that just doesn't look right. Then I was thinking about a stylised hurricane cloud but:
A) I haven't been able to find one.
B) I am artisticly challenged.
C) I want something they won't have a hard time doing. (Not to mention not to complex, I don't want this sucker costing too damned much. I's is poor.)

Cat, an awful lot of tattoo artists are- artists. You might be best off checking out the local talent, and asking a few guys about designing a hurricane tattoo for you, Take a look at their books, every skin artist has one.
Tat guys are tribal natured, often enough, and they will do trades- I've made leather goods, made knives, fixed furniture, and performed some *ahem* special services for a couple, as partial trades for some of mine... damn, that was fun...

Let me know if one of the artists in your area does come up with something you like, if you're going that route. i'll fiddle around and see what comes out of this twisted little mind.

i have a feeling that you should get in touch with dark glasses. hes an awesome artist who is looking into the tattoo field.
but im sure you knew that.

If you want to go gray scale, I would reccomend looking for someone who is good with negative space. White ink is available now and an artist who knows how to do it well is worth his weight. I think white would totally accent. I am good with tribal designs. If you would like me to I can try a tribal version.
