I love the idea of combining my two favorite creative art loves: art and writing.

I like the idea of the mother and son not knowing one or the other is going to be in the art class. I might even have the son in college, and the mother enrolled in an elder hostel class and the two are surprised to be at the same venue. It might be fun to not be so predictive of having the mother model nude in front of the son, but rather be a slow-burn story where the professor lectures on one of the most radical nude paintings of the time, Edouard Monet's Luncheon on the Grass. (A print I have in my own gallery).

The key to the story is the professor's talk about the social impact of the painting of the time, and thus its controversy. After class the group is discussing the professor's points, and a controversy erupts over the toxic masculinity of the men being dressed and the women being nude. Through a terse debate, it is suggested by the group that a repainting of the famous painting should be done, but with changes; both male and female should be nude.

With an eye towards the social implications of nudity in art, in public they decide to challenge the norms of the modern day, and do so within their favorite park. As the police arrive and challenge them in a heated debate, they win their right to freedom of expression, but at a cost. One of the male models refuses to model nude at the park. The son shows his commitment to the painting and the arts, and defying not only public nudity, but the squeamish social norm, poses nude with his mother.

Surprising the professor with the painting, the professor is stunned. Later he tells the mother and son to meet him in his office. There he addresses them harshly for posing nude together out of ethics of the university, where the mother and son use the professor's own lectured words against them in defense of artistic nudity in art to fight social norms.

Myself: I might make this a non-sex scene story and just have the story about fighting social norms via nude works of art, but for those wishing for an incestuous slant, a sex scene between the son and mother could transpire after they pose together, but before they give the painting to the professor, as one admits to the other, they enjoyed posing nude together in a public venue as they did. One confession then leads to another...
