I haven't checked out the thread yet, just wanted to share. My daughter is not really a starving artist, because she has a paying daytime job. She is a great sculptor, and I try to support her all I can. I buy supplies, pay entrance fees for shows etc. I hope she knows how talented I think she is. This is a proud mom talking.

I think the work is beautiful, but I do agree with 4laterer ONLY in the sense that it would be good to expand on the subject material. I would not call that mediocre though, regaurdless. There is genuine talent there.

I can find better versions of what Shingen does in those erotic comic books, and if I can be arsed, I'll look

I think people think its good because not that many people can draw well, or consolidate human features onto paper well (I'm one of these) but that does not mean it is good per se

It's not my personal taste in art, but I do see a great deal of talent. Thanks for the peek Angel. I'd never have seen it. I never thought of the APF board as having more than nude pics.

Thanks everyone for your comments, and I mean everyone. If at least some of you enjoy my art then I am happy. I'm not going to please everyone and that's not my goal. I create my art the way I like and not how some art director or critic say I should. Yes, someone else can draw/paint better than me and I can draw better than possibly the next person. I'm just happy creating, be it art, writing or music!
