This is just a SAMPLE of the kind of thing I do for homework every day.... this is TWO LINES of Greek (and it's in another alphabet, I just transliterated for the top bit).... I have a few PAGES of this to do tonight!
 
OMG!!! I'm very good with languages but LOL greek evades me.. hehe I speak french and can read some spanish and italian.

it's ancient greek, by the way.. not what modern Greeks speak.

ouch, good luck. Why ancient Greek?

I do know a few people who have had to study dead lanaguages, but it is either as history, art, or religious studies.

I took French in college but was so bac at it, I dropped the class before I could flunk it.

oh that does explain it. Could be worse, could be hyroglyphs. (don't know how to spell that)--

I have a friend studying for a doctorate in ancient art that has to be able to read hyroglyphs.--What's funny is that he is in his 20's- I always pictured someone that far into grad school being older.-

OH well.

Sounds fun!! I'd love to do that.. I've always had a spot in me for Egypt. I wouldnt be patient enough thought.. but I did manage to learn to speak english hehe I had no choice thought

I've always had a love for Egypt.. *grin* It's so exotic, so ... mysterious... I think it's the art, the grandeur that captured me...

pixie, I wouldnt reccommend going to egypt, as it was a complete shithole (nd prob still is)

but after the massacre in 1997 security i very tight

espec for yanks and fat canadians

and there are a lot less tourists, (but more russians)

I am not trying to prove anything... and I dont plan to go to egypt.. I like ACIENT egypt.. I'm a pagan. and more americans are fat then canadians.
