arrests made today

a group of people were arrested in a hotel in Boston and vehicles seized as well as arrests in Florida. notes, manuals for flying etc were written in arabic. airport seats were removed for DNA testing to link these people to who boarded the planes.

one thing i cannot understand is this...police rushed into the boston hotel with armored vehicles, automatic weapons, ambulances with them and hundreds of people just standing around immediately outside the doors of the hotel on the street.
why?
do people not think that if these people are terrorists that they may have bomb material in their rooms and could blow up the front of the building?

hoping that things are looking up for all concerned.

I was even worried about that scenario you gave. Plus.... carbombs, and other shit. They didn't fuck around with this.... they may only want to go out in flame and false glory...

i dont know if people know it but, here in canada, we have 17,000 people waiting to go home after the planes had to be diverted to canada yesterday.
rest assure, that they are being well taken care of in our Eastern Provinces.

And the west as well Batter, people actually showed up at the airport to ask strangers if they would like to stay at their houses until the airports openned again
