i finally got deodorant in today. long story short, i developed a severe allergy, have had to stop all together. testing organic/hypoallergenic shit out now. my pits smell of lavender and sage. a friend is going to place an order with someone she knows and trusts. it's a whole new world.

I have always been allergic to aluminum chlorhydrate and aluminum salts.
I used to use Tom's roll unscented, but they stopped the non alum salts one.

I can kind of use one of Tom's unscented sticks. I also made some of my own spray on deodorant with vodka, lemon juice and glycerin. I can give you the recipe.

When I am having real problems I just use straight non petroleum baby rash zinc oxide lotion under my arms.

Can't wait to hear the results of the "Summers Eve" tests.

good luck. i have sensitive skin and many deodorants give me a rash, but i use old spice so i have no advice beyond keep trying and you'll hopefully find something that works that isn't terrible.

not like those stupid crystals.

alternatively, you can simply curse the gods for not making you korean or whatever. lucky non-stinky bastards. genetics fucking blow.

i do not like the crystals. i want a paste.

Noor's recipe sounds good.

i am excited. i've heard of other sprays. i use rose water spritz elsewhere and love it.

Haven't used a deodorant for 3 years. Don't miss them and don't give a fuck if anyone is offended by any odour I might exude.

that's wonderful for you. i am not quite there. i go without deodorant quite often, but there are times i want it, and i don't want hives when i use it.

Is it the deodorant or the antiperspirant? I quit using antiperspirants ages ago because of the irritation.

Having gotten a rash from most other brands, I've only used Arm & Hammer for some years now. The other trick, often lost on men, is to shave out your armpits. There are certain simple habits to do with hygiene and personal grooming that mothers teach their daughters, but fathers traditionally don't teach their sons, and as men we have to stumble into these seemingly obvious techniques later. Just getting rid of that underarm hair gets rid of half the odor right there, I find.

2 teaspoons lemon juice
1\4 cup vodka in a spray bottle.
A few drop essential oils optional, I don't use them in case of allergy.

It takes about 3 days to adjust to.
2 spritz per arm pit twice a day for couple days then just two spritzs once a day in morning.

Glycerin not needed, I was confusing it with my homemade face cream which is vanacream, glycerin and 5 vials of cromolyn sodium.

I shave my armpits every so often, it helps.

thank you!

i've been too sensitive to shave as of late. my hair is fine and soft. it actually helps with smell and rash. being shaved, i break out very, very easily.

I don't stink, so i don't need or use any of it.

Grrls, next time you masturbate, imagine my whispering in your ear, reminding you that most female grooming habits have been mandated by kinky men.

I use coconut oil infused with herbs, on most days.
If I know, I am going to be labored and sweaty, I use Tom's.

Unrelated note:
I had a dream last night that Lance, in the vision of his av, was masturbating with Palmolive dish soap. When I caught him, he begged for me to wipe him clean.

You know, your hands are soaking in it right now, Madge.

Mine break out once in a while. If I leave them alone for a few days, gently washing them, it seems to clear it's self up.

My mix is coconut oil, arrowroot powder, baking soda, shea butter, tea tree oil, essential oils, some beeswax.

Most commercial "natural" deodorants have too much baking soda in their mix, and they use alcohol instead of tea tree oil to kill bacteria. Both or either of those things can cause rashes.

Make sure if you do start making you own you put it in glass or plastic and keep all metal away from your mix. Metal will inactivate the ingredients. No spoons or lids.

When you go to the natural route you need to be exfoliating your pits, beeswax will build up.

I use a cider vinegar, tea tree oil, essential oils spray on the weekends to try to keep the ph balanced.

Most body odor is due to poor hygiene, but sometimes can be a symptom of Diabetes, kidney, liver disease or thyroid problems.

Umm. No.

Usually hormones, genetics, food consumption.

I wonder if scotch would work. I'm thinking a fine single malt.

Start by cutting back on the booze, bathing and wash your bra, piggy.
