I bought a new wood base and orthopedic mattress 2 years ago, and then replaced all my sheets, doonas and blankets with really high-quality stuff.
Sleeping on 2500-count sheets is sublime

As for who's in it.... I love that my man is away just long enough for me to miss him

I love my bed. Pale canary yellow, very modern and simple, four poster, wooden, queen size, slatted bed.

Big enough for me and the cat to spread out and small enough to reach out and touch my J when he stays over.

And a beautifull bright doona cover on either goose down or cotton filled doona (depending on the season)

My bedroom is one of my favourite and comforting places aside from the dance floor.

I'm actually not satisfied with it at the moment, its about 8 yrs old and is beginning to creak loudly when I make love to my girlfriend on it. Plus, the mattress has started to seem uncomfortable.
