In my opinion, it's ugly. Women like things to be pretty.

It's a gadget, as you point out-- women, in general, hate to think of their genitalia as "gadgets."

And it doesn't feel anything. Wearing something like this only points out more clearly that one is in the wrong body.

HOWEVER... I am thinking of adding something like this to my Baroque toys line. Make it utterly unlifelike-- absolutely decorative-- and it would be more satisfying, that's my opinion.

And I wouldn't have thought of that if you hadn't asked again, so thanks for that!

Okay, I just spent some time on that site. it's a very serious, sincere prosthetics offering. I take it back that it's ugly-- the vees are about as good as it's gonna get, IMO, and I imagine that a lot of transwomen and CDs are pretty happy with theirs.

yeah, Rolando, latex comes in a liquid form, like thick paint. Brushing it on in layers, the way the site describes is the best way to use it

(You can buy it at places like Michaels Crafts these days, folks, if anyone has a hankering to mess around on their own projects!)

People always ask me why I can't be happy as a woman using a strapon-- same thing. No feeling. It just makes my dilemma more apparent.

What? A lot of people do it. In fact a WHOLE lot of guys get dressed up as women on the weekend. I know quite a few.

As for the...device...I agree that it's probably not widely used. The price point is way too high, though as StarrOfTheNite said, some people do pay big bucks for that sort of thing. And it's not the only way to hide your penis - plenty of T-girls (have never heard the term used offensively or for porn) use much simpler gaffes or even just perfect their tucks on their own.

I just can't imagine even the stealthiest of non/pre-ops wearing one of these...it's a weird THING, you know?

Totally not a fan of their latex face masks, either. Maybe if they showed them pictured on a human??

There is a person (I don't know if they prefer male or female pronouns so I'll just say person for now) on youtube that has a collection of those masks. I watched about half a dozen in mute semi horrified fascination.

At first glance it looks like a woman wearing a lot of make up. Not unattractively so. Then the person wearing the mask (and a really nice wig) started smoking, and posing their head.

The creepy as hell thing about it is how...stationary it was. It was reminiscent of those paintings who's eyes follow one about the room. Very eerie.

Still, I can absolutely understand the appeal, and I've nothing against them. It was simply the way the feux face didn't move that was disconcerting.

There's a term for that, which I can't remember right now....

Basically, the closer to lifelike something gets the eerier it seems to us. Animated cartoons are more acceptable, even when the faces are goofy we can relate to them. But if you remember "The Polar Express" where the CGI tried to be as lifelike as possible -- Iiiiiick! Yucky!

Later CGI animations backed away from that a little bit. Shreck, and Beowulf-- off the top of my head-- didn't try to render every minuscule nuance, and therefore squicked out fewer viewers.

I think those masks hit that point for you. There are masks for animal play, and the designers make room for as much of the real face as possible-- big eyeholes, lips.

i admit that i have been interested in the urinating-bladder vstring, and now after viewing the link, i am even more interested in the body suit. i have concerns about "feeling." but the vaginal pouch seems to allow some sensitivity. i also am concerned about the full body suit that appears to have a face mask, which i am pretty sure that i do not want. i have looked at products like the vstring for at least 10 years now, but have always held back because of cost. i know that i can get a good set of realistic large C breasts for less than $100. so, with the vstring i can look very alluring for about $400. i still find that very tempting.

I'm designing a line of strapons right now, and am thinking about adding this into my line. If King Louis XIV of France, for instance, ordered a v-string from his jeweller at Versailles so he could explore his other side... You know it would be made of gold and have leaves and flowers sculpted around the fun stuff, and probably have silk bows holding it in place.
